Should the Ignore list be larger than 100 slots when B2P hits.

Not that B2P will ever be as bad as F2P, but there will be a different demographic. So we may see a spike in bots or annoying players. I've hit 100 ignore slots back in the day, and cleared it but its very slowly filling back up. So I have wondered, do you guys think ZOS should up the slots on the ignore list??

(I believe there is 100 slots, if I am wrong let me know so I can change the poll info, ultimately the question is "Would you like to see more slots than we have currently")

Feel free to post below how many slots you think should have for the ignore list.. 200.. 300.. unlimited.. let me know

I find it to be a great feature, spammers, scammers and some whom I've just had bad experiences with I dont ignore so I dont see their chat, I simply use ignore and a way to prevent these people from making their way into my guild.

Nope, because the Gold Spammers will be in such force that as soon as you ignore them another will pop up.

The limit won't matter because they'll be unstoppable.

This was why my list filled fast in the first month, but later I realized I could just clear my ignore list, since they were no more. But I still think chat guard is in place tho, unless they get creative.

Or you don't interact with as many people as the individual that formulated this poll.

Maybe you might have an anti-social problem?

Wait until the bots come back full force spamming chat with their s&^% then you will need all the ignore slots you can get

The payment model doesn't really matter, let people ignore all they want.

I have ''0'' people in my ignore list too, and Yes.. i voted yes for more slots.. because everyone ''who paid one year for beta'' and played more than one mmo knows that will be very chaotic with f2p people.. ( we, anti-social :P suckers with the money they need/already have ) went silent like a dog with a small bone, so, i dont think they will change anything unless it is in their interest :disagree:

Having played LOTRO from Beta in 2006 to leaving in 2013, I would suggest an infinite ignore list!

Or rather, i think all text blocks that get smashed with tons of special characters (as gold bots do) should just be auto filtered, probably a way to fine tune. Or jus auto ban after spamming x amount of goldxxx.com or w/e generic url messages.

Agreed on the infinite ignore list. I fill my list on a regular basis, then empty it once every 2-3 months. There's some people I just don't want to deal with. I don't begrudge them their opportunity to fill zone chat with whatever they feel like shouting, but ignore means I don't have to bother with it.

I'm all for more slots, I used quite a few back when bots were spamming zone and can see something similar happening in the near future.

I don't have anyone on my ignore list but coming from STO it's second nature to have zone chat switched off. I think more than 100 is a little paranoid, the only knob heads I had ignored before in STO were some racist tossers in PvP, after reporting them of course. But to date in ESO I've seen no evidence that a bigger ignore list is required and this poll itself is fuelling the hysteria surrounding B2P.

Now, had this game been going F2P I would have probably voted yes because the ignore list is handy for gold scammers and bots etc, but B2P is a very different beast to F2P thank god.

I have found that most people that I had to put on the ignore list were bots and I never saw them again. I have only one person who I have to ignore on a regular basis. (She is a guild member who thinks that she runs the game despite not being a guild officer.)
