I don't know why but the moment I see "Tamriel Unlimited", I think of "Age of Conan Unchained". I hope they won't share the same fate, though. Actually, in terms of business model, I think Tamriel Unlimited is more like the one in TSW.

Jokes aside, I can understand why ESO goes B2P at last. It is those losers who can't even afford a pizza a month that make this game go B2P and the whole MMO industry fall. I don't really blame ZOS, to be honest, but still it hurts. It's like a slap in the face to those loyal players who have subscribed since day 1 and those loyal players who have done everything to defend this game.

I can tolerate all the bugs, server lags, item duping and all the terrible experiences due to that we were in fact beta testing the game for the first few months. I can tolerate no update since mid November while I still subbed for 90 days in December. I can tolerate all these because I love it. But no more. It is not the same ESO I hold dear. From now on it's just another average fun game.

I guess this is a new form of whining.

Seeing the announcement made me a very sad panda. I'm going to fight my way through AD, since it's the last faction I have to explore. Then I will take my only VR character and wander through Cyrodiil followed by Craglorn exploring.
Oooh look, lot's of Butterflies! Wait! Butterflies? Get out of here Sheo, stop bugging me!

It's more "Veteran System", "Champion System", "Justice System" marketing drivel... it will play well to the people who buy console boxes.

    Edit: Fumble fingers.

Actually I DO hope they share the same fate as Conan. They deserve nothing more than that in my opinion

No, they suffered because after the starter area (which I'll agree was/is the best starter area I've ever played) there was nothing... it was an incomplete game.

And that usually leads to a failed lauch. Customers are never as stupid as the MBAs in marketing presume them to be.

It's a bit early to make this kind of statement, don't you think?
