I've read the announcement and the FAQ, but there is one question I haven't found an answer to.
I've been an uninterrupted subscriber since launch. Will players that subscribed to ESO before Tamriel Unlimited hits receive the equivalent amount of crowns for the amount of subscription payments they made? E.g. if I've been subscribed for 10 months when the cash shop lands, will I receive 10 months' worth of crowns?
AoC did this when they changed their subscription model to exactly the same model ESO is switching to now, and I found that to be a very fair solution.

Once the system is implemented, paying suscribers will get 1500 crows every month.

Where did you get that from @Gyudan? Not that I doubt you, it's just that I thought I read all the info available.

As I said somewhere else:500 free +100 per month subscribed is pretty good I think; considering there has been nothing to spend them on up until now, I don't think we need a direct conversion.
It'll come down to how many Crowns each item costs when considering whether 100 is good value; you shouldn't be able to buy out the store, but considering some of the purchases as an extended loyalty reward is a good direction for ZOS to take. Don't you just love how ZOS tends to spread information on a single subject over several different forum posts, videos and interviews on third party sites, instead of delivering all of it in one announcement/article?
I thought that's what the "official news" part of the forums was for.
As for the value of those 100 "crowns" per month +500, well, everyone gets 500. So, a maximum of 1000 backcredited crowns is all veterans are going to get. I don't think two thirds of one month's subscription's worth of crowns is going to buy you a lot.
The prices are of course not known yet, but I'd imagine they'll be set in a way that will not allow a subscriber to buy everything that is added to the store without purchasing additional store currency. I expect one new "big" item (e.g. horses) per month at around 2'000 crowns each, plus several small items with a cumulative value of 1'000.Edited by Rodario on January 22, 2015 12:35PMVictoria Lux - Templar Tank

However 100 crowns is still nothing, compared to 1500 you get per month when the system goes live...0
