I would not even think about asking anyone to stop nightcapping. Whether it's us or DC or AD. The lag I want to avoid aswell, I even made a thread asking if Elite was the actual reason, and I see we were not, before thread got derailed (that is partly my fault).
I am unlike @Iseko as far as winning the campaign. I want to win, but it's not first on my priorities either. First is my guild, then the fights then winning. I don't see how night capping can annoy someone so much. When Abraxus did it, we saw it as something to do. Gave us a goal, to pull azura together, and eventually win. We accomplished that, not alone, but was mostly from our efforts.
I can understand the lag being quite annoying... Elite has left the server several nights because of it.
You will probably see us again... Maybe soon, maybe later.
I will no longer answer in this thread. I did not get the response I was hoping for, but it at least gave me a bit of a different perspective.

I cant recommend it to go to Azura.

I was there some days ago to wait for tb invite. First I was at bm. There was absolutely noone. I wonder if there were 5 player of my faction at 7pm.

So I went alone to bm. There was one red on a horse with 3.8k hp riding around, when I attack him I saw the 10 others waiting around him in stealth so I escaped and went to bb. There I was sitting there 10min or until a mate came who was instantly attacked by two reds we managed to kill. 2 min they came back with 30 other reds waiting in stealth.

I mean I dont blame them. I asume there was simply nothing else to do for them than to wait ages to have a 30v1 for 5 secs.

But honestly I rather farm 1h materials and have a balanced tb instead with all its lags and instabilities instead of such an imbalanced campaign.

ZOS should work on that. Campaign balance and lags. ZOS, dont care for OP skills, block casting, super dps tanks or what ever. Find a way to balance campaigns and fix lags!

The thing i hate about this thread is the sadness you guys claim you was outnumbered when blues owned Azura, I have many screenshots of population on my guild forums of you constantly having more pop than us even when we owned Azura, Even with more pop though you guys had to go through the hell of dealing with me as Emp and taking all keeps, So imagine that but fighting against locked EP when your med/low.

We still found it too easy, So you know what we did? We left so the campaign could become balanced. And as soon as we left you guys turned it into an EP buff campaign because you guys didnt really want to PvP there anyway, It was all about making it PvE campaign, Sending any meat shield into battle at any hour of the day to claim map.

@AbraXuSeXile Congrats to you. I said multiple times that we were a small guild back then leading PUG's mostly. Always said you guys were a good team. Those were the early days for us. And yes you were hard to kill. Devouring swarm/blazing shield is a hard combo to beat when you're fighting an emp. Especially with a full ts raid backing you up. You guys were worth two full raids easy with you as emp.

HOWEVER. Blues were often medium pop in those days and in prime time you got your asses handed to you with both yellows and EP pushing from both sides (same as what was happening to us lately). Then the response came... Blue went from medium pop to locked in 15-30 minutes (thornblade support). Blue trains defending the last emp keep and taking back a few keeps. On came the stalemate. Then people started logging off and DC nightcapped the entire map back.

Pretty much how it was for almost two months. This destroyed the server just as has happened again now. EP left. AD left. We (the guild) had a vote and stayed.

A few weeks later: you left and since we were one of the few (at that time becoming "big") guilds left in EP we were able to pretty much take everything without resistance. So we did not turn it into a buff server intentionally. Just had no resistance because you made sure everyone left before you. We started guesting haderus after that. Then slowly AD and DC came back from thorn since it was constantly locked/lagfest. We had some nice fights and came out on top more often then not (EP). Elite grew and got better.

Then they reduced pop cap and you came back from thornblade. You "claim" that DC kicked EP's asses. Like I said before: it was DC and AD pushing us togheter. I've seen your name flash by a lot: "you killed abraxus". You didnt destroy nothing. Same thing happend to us as had happened to you couple of months ago when you were emp. Two alliances pushing your way means you have to give ground. But when we were defending bleakers or chalman from a massive blue zerg (again), we crushed them time after time. AD was a lot harder to kill then DC in my opinion. So get of your high horse.

I admit that I can never be 100% objective and this is said from my point of view. But your glorious tales of 1vs10 destruction fests is bs. 1 vs 2 I admit to when you were emp. Never in the last month.

Your completely wrong about the populations, EP always had more than DC. You maybe forgetting the first 2 days of Azura the map was completely red and on the 3rd day we switched from Thorn to Azura and started getting things together and since then we fended off droves of EP.

I don't know where this DC night cap crap comes from, But we pushed EP back to there base keeps before midnight every night. Maybe you kept one keep or two keeps but by then all the DC guilds had also gone to sleep, And we switched over to Thornblade. We didnt even turn the map completely blue we never touched AD unless they had a keep on the Imperial ring and whatever you had by about midnight you kept hold of. I have logged with fraps and screenshots most of how Azura went if you would like me to show you.

It's always been EP's goal to take it as a buff server, It was red for 2 days at the beginning and EP proclaimed it to be there server.

I'm not sure what you mean by when they reduced pop cap and we returned, We haven't returned and i ain't claiming we kicked ass for the 4 days we was 'back' We popped on at reset and the French alliance had left and AD was gone also. So we just farmed as much as possible, Which infact was a really good farm as i gained my next rank quicker than most my other ranks, And i ended up being number 1 overall on the campaign which i dropped out of to give Emporer to a guildie.

Saying you killed me is pretty laughable considering the numbers involved and my tendancy to run into huge groups and bomb them. You can check my videos to see the numbers i run with.

Your delusional imagination of granduer is laughable, And the ego you guys have gotten recently because your sat high on a dead campaign is beyond ridiculous. Even with my inflated ego i never attempted to mock or goad the other factions when we held the map. Hell, We even left to make it a more balanced campaign and you guys took the opportunity to PvE the hell out of it.

To make a thread like this and then start trying to make it into some Rocky story is the saddest thing i've ever seen, Personally i think you guys just want people to go to Azura is because your afraid of real action. :)

Azura is no serious and has never been. Its nice ap farming the neverending stream of EP but when the campaign is fully red its just too much effort to get good fights.

Everyone wants a fun campaign to play on. There is nightcapping on thornblade too but all factions do it and all factions have a equally high playerbase. On Azura however EP is the only faction nightcapping and is higher populated at every hour. Often locked vs 2x low pop. Of course people will go to a campaign that is more even. Its no fun having to take all home keeps back every day knowing that some pve kids will take it back when there is noone left to defend the keeps.

If you look for challenge go to thornblade or chillrend (same as azura, just blue) as there might be people willing to fight you during the night. Or you stay on Azura and keep playing player vs door.

Btw could you tell me some names of players playing in your guild? I dont really know which group you are tbh.

Well, tonight at prime time Azura's Star was basically empty while Haderus has basically become a 7-day version of Thornblade.

Abraxus has very seldom been on asura over the last month, and only with a few guys, so he's not speaking of this period. Over the last month DC has been fighting 2 to 3 pop bars vs EP lock. Fighting back on his tier each evening with AD also pushing on EP.

So the population itself was not the pb, the nightcaping/spawncamping was somewhat: it killed any fun for day fight of small groups, with no wb available off prime (wb spawn camping is the most astonishing from my point of view but it has happened, and double wb spawn keep defense also in pre-prime).

As a matter of fact in the past months I've seen exile and dawn of the wild hunt defend the emp keeps with only two groups of 10-12 each night and off prime period for weeks, including suceeding to launch very fast counter attacks due to forward camps. The odds were clearly against them, and more than 1vs2. Most of the other guilds playing only in prime time. In prime time they were two wb and a few other guilds groups defending most of the time, and the odds were more balanced.
