Hmmm...this is interesting. ZOS has my CC info saved for sure, I've had a recurring sub since beta - but there is no way to access now it to delete the info. Any suggestions?

Call your bank and have the card "red carded".

If you decide to cancel your sub, be sure to save the confirmation info when you do. If your card get charged again you have proof of the date you canceled.

Not even EA did this sort of scummy thing with SWToR. My cancellation was clean and easy.

You don't delete your credit card info you just cancel your subscription. It's likely that zos don't actually store your card data, instead they have probably tokenised it with a bank or other PCI compliant organisation.

they're going to keep your credit card info so they can accidentally feel you some more.

This should be in the support section of the forums.

You have to actually contact them by phone to get it removed. If you merely cancel the sub, they will still retain your credit card info. If you call and ask it be removed entirely, this will also wipe any and all future access to the account tied to it. Turbine does the same thing with LotrO subs; they will keep your credit card info indefinitely unless you make a deliberate request that it be removed, thus forfetting any possibility of returning to the game - on that account. It is a way for them to "tie you" to the game since many people do quit for a time and then return later.

    what a bunch of scumbags.

Bethesda is a professional company. They would not attempt to continue the subscription with your credit card containing twenty dollars without your consent.

Call your bank and tell them to block any charges from them.
