Will Imperial City be Free After Tamriel Unlimited?

So I am not a big PVPer, but I do know that many people are. We know that Update 6 will come with the initial box purchase of the game once it is released. However, PVPers have been clamoring for the Imperial City for a long time. It would be perfectly fine to include with the DLC purchases in the future, except for the fact that afaik PVP has not received any new content updates since the launch of the game. If it is not free, this could make many people angry.

Just sayin'

Well I know that it will be "free" (as you are still paying a sub ), but I think it would be much smarter just to release that, and then change to the paid DLC, as we all know that PVPers, are....., well....., vocal.

Like everything else PVP related, the Imperial City will be just another instance of ZOS screwing over the PVP community in this game.

If it's anything like Darkness Falls was in DAoC, it'll be a hugely attractive feature once people understand what it is,

As a core feature it could sell more boxes.

As DLC... I'm really having a hard time figuring out just who would buy DLC when subbing for a month gets you access to all DLC. I guess if DLC is cheap enough and you're only interested in one it might make sense but as I'm seeing things now, why buy a bunch of DLCs when you can play it whenever you want by subbing and you get all the other membership perks too?

    I must be missing something...

I would like clarification on this as well. I'm guessing it's going to be a DLC due to being released post 1.6. However, official word would be nice.

ZOS stated that Justice is a free download but after that will be the new model. So basically Imperial City, if not part of the justice update, will need to be bought.

Tokens of admission to the Imperial City will only cost 750 crowns ($6.50) and last for 2 hours.

Once you're in, you get triple AP and "Rewards for the Worthy" are all buffed to blue items with chances to get purple and yellow items.

But... for 5000 crowns, you get get the "I survived the Imperial City" costume, which comes with a nice assortment of purple items and a bag of XP equivalent to if you had actually set foot in the Imperial City.

I believe it was said during the guild summit back in October that an alliance will need to control their six home keeps or the landing platforms in the IC before a player could enter the city. What happens if I buy the DLC and my alliance does not own all of its home keeps on my Home and Guest campaigns? If I paid for the content, why am I unable to access it?

During yesterday's ESO Live show, it was mentioned that new DLC zones will scale to the player's level. How do you scale a PVP zone to a player's level?

There are so many questions about the IC which ZOS needs to address. I am sure they will remain true to form and they will ignore them indefinitely. They probably won't even address them when it finally reaches the PTS, if that day ever comes.

What is the crown purchase price? I don't want to sub, but I want access to IC. As to why go this route... you have be constantly active to have access to the DLC. If you purchase it you don't need to be subbed. You can play for "free" and access the DLC content.

2500 crowns for Imperial City DLC.
