What could you possibly need 8 character slots for in a game where 4 characters can literally cover every skill?

How about the fact the game is crippled-by-design inventory/bank-wise or if you want to do anything more than dabble in crafting?nerevarine1138 wrote: »I just have to ask:

Ah the "it's not a problem for me so it's not a problem" view of things.
Okay.,

1. I'm not really all that opposed to the option, but I could see some potential balance issues when people are basically paying for increased inventory space (granted, that's not all that big a balance issue).
2. I am, however, confused by your assertion that one "needs" to be able to create different characters for every potential combination. There are more skill points than one can possibly use on a truly one-dimensional build in the game, so the notion that you couldn't have one character fill multiple roles is just a little ridiculous.
3. You have a specific desire to play 100+ characters to level 10 and then abandon them (because no one has enough time to play all those combinations for any substantive amount of time). Cool. But the potential balance issues outweigh your addiction.
More character slots would be greatuntil then I think I'll just wait for a sale and buy another copy of eso now it's going sub free.
More storage space, 8 more chars and someone to bounce my mail offIt will probably work out cheaper then buying "extra slots" on the crown store anyway if they ever offer them.

there are 8/9 playable races, there are 4 classes, there are 3 roles.
outside of the obvious statement where i'd personally love to make every combination possible, for funsies......
lets just say for arguments sake i want to make dps builds:1 magicka 1 stamina build for each class, thats 8 toons right there
now i wanna make a tank for all classes, thats gonna take another 4 slots
i also wanna make a best in slot racial for healer, thats another slot or two -given its not gonna cross over with one of my magicka dpsers.
what if im an altaholahic and making new alts and lvling is my thing?
