B2P and Premium membership

I'm getting a bit confused with the B2P thing and Premium Membership. Premium Membership doesn't really seem to offer anything worth paying for IMHO; the Premium Membership page states that any current subscribers with game time left will automatically become Premium Members; after that point will my rolling subscription automatically turn into a rolling Premium Membership subscription (in which case I'll need to cancel it) or will Zenimax stop taking the money?

Just to clarify from the FAQ:

Your account will automatically transition to ESO Plus with recurring billing active. If you do not wish to keep recurring billing, you may change this option in your account page.

This article makes some really good points. I have never been on a MMO when it when this route so it will be interesting to see if I'm here come March 17th.
