It is just bad design to have all rezzes auto-fail if one person does not accept a rez. An entire raid can be wiped or a keep defense fail if one person isn't paying attention or disconnects.
If there is some balance reason why I can't rez player A and B and C that I am unaware of, the solution is simple: if the first person you rez does not accept it by the time B is also rezed, then it is A who auto-fails...not B.
If this simple logic somehow fails to persuade, then there are more personal matters to consider. Tonight I was with EP who was chasing a scroll that was taken by AD - one of those tense and exciting moments that make PvP enjoyable. During the first battle, there were some casualties on the EP side and I started rezzing people because EP had no keeps near enough that these players could revive at and have a chance at the scroll. I rez person A, then go onto person B, then get on my horse to pursue the scroll.
Moments later I see in my chat log a whisper from person B: "U DICKHEAD."
I had no idea why he was mad at me. Was he mad that I spent the time to rez him and not gone after the scroll? Was he mad because I couldn't kill the 20 AD guarding the scroll? I then saw the following message: "Person A has declined your resurrection."
When I whispered B back and told him he shouldn't be calling me a "dickhead," he told me he did so because I had botched the rez and he couldn't get back into the fight because of it. When I told him he was wrong and the rez auto-failed because of person A, he didn't believe me, called me an idiot, and continued to berate me for my alleged incompetence.
So not only do you have a highly questionable mechanic when it comes to rezzes that unnecessarily wipes raid and ruins these moments simply because a single person grabs a beer after he dies, it creates unnecessary acrimony that I think we all can agree is bad for the game and should be removed/fixed ASAP.
Or, if you insist on keeping this idiotic mechanic, please inform the people in huge neon pink font the reason why their rez failed was because of person A so I don't get called a "DICKHEAD" in the future and have people thinking I am incompetent when all I doing is trying to help them.
