If for some reason Alacrity actually shows, then we may change areas. Enemy players crashing an introductory session sounds like about the lowest, cheesiest thing that a guild could do, but...AD.

I may try the non-vet next week.

The first 22 to join will be added to the group and be able to see the text and follow. We are doing this in an effort to combat misinformation and blatant misdirection.
We will cover the basics that seem to be missing or where player ignorance is being exploited (such as zone-chat-generals telling pugs to push resources so they miss their d-tick)
Other topics include the following:
- *efficient* seige-engine placement
- Zerg breaking
- non-zergball tactics
- buffs/debuffs
- dos/donts of heals
- scoring
- siege engine combos
- enemy buffs
- know when you are being farmed
We will meet in Chillrend at 8pm. i will call out the group name to join a few times before 8pm, but at 8 i will begin regardless of the group size.
If there are small PvP guilds or RP/PvE guilds looking to join the war and would like some help getting started, then send me an email/message and I will be happy to help a DC-only (PvP, not concerned if you have pure PvE players playing cross faction) guild get started.
To be clear...
This is not a recruiting event. No one will be getting guild invites from us for attending, if you are interested in joining GnG you will first need to ask to join a group with us or have someone well known to us to recommend you, keep in mind we do not condone cross-faction PvP.

There wasn't anything on the map to take on Chillrend tonight . Blackwater Blade would probably be low pop too . I'd try taking a group into Haderous or Thornblade if you want to have action .
I really wish I would have seen this earlier! Just finished a DC skyshard/dungeon guild event tonight and I bet many of them would have enjoyed learning about PvP! If you do decide to do this again I would love to know and give a heads up to my guild!
[Edit] We are a cross faction guild but I understand the need to be loyal to one alliance. I would reiterate your rules for only allowing loyal DC PvPers to the event.

Hope you were not completely discouraged and try again. I've dabbled in Cyrodil, but one of the reasons I haven't done more is cuz I don't really know what I'm doing. This is my first MMO.

Blue zerg was real last night, moreso even than normal. Wondered what was up >_>
Even still, the eight of us in GoS holding those flags inside Farragut right to the end vs all those blues goes down as one of my personal finest hours.
Gotta do that again >_>
Also lol @ the attempt to spawn camp us, nope, not gonna happen. =D Please to not try that again k?
I agree that a voice app would be useful for this, be it TeamSpeak, RaidCall, or other.I am not discouraged. I know the information is useful based on feedback from members of GnG and guild friends, and the fact that some of the things I discuss are things that come up constantly when in Cyrodiil.
I will do it again. 10 PM EST seems better time. I will tentatively say 10 pm EST Monday, Jan 26.
Don't you need opponents?
I don't really know anyone that's homed or even guested on Chillrend that's not DC except gankers.
If you really want to run a training event, would Azura Star or Haederus be the place to do it?
Otherwise, I think it's an excellent idea and hope that everyone has a really great time.
