Any Class required?

So me and my Mate want to start again and give TESO another try. But we are not sure what to play currently. Only think I noticed, that everyone play Dragon Knight, aside of this, is there something needed?

We trough about Tank/Heal but it seems TESO has tons of it?

You should really give each class a try if you're not sure.

Personally, right now DK is my least favourite to play. I prefer the other classes. But it's a personal preference.

Best Damage: DK
Best heals: TP

That's why everyone use DK.

Needed in Case for Dungeons etc. if there is any good dungeons up yet, where Tank/Heal needed

Eight divines did an 11m 000s xxxms all DK AA run the other day. (NA Server, should be around 47th ish - six DK's in a row for the group)

A recent update made all dungeons scale to your lvl. So most of the vet dungeons all now require a tank and healer. Also trials are all v12 instances.

There is probably still more healers than tanks atm, even though everyone and there mother plays a DK now.

Edit: your best bet is to get on the PTS when 1.6 goes into testing and see what you like best.

I agree with @Cuyler on this: get on the PTS when 1.6 goes on it and play around to see what you really like best.

In the meantime, there's no reason why you can't create 1 of each class and play around with them.

Overall right now I'd say that DK is the best option for a tank, Templar is the best option for a healer, and the best option for DPS is either DK or Nightblade (depending on whether you're going with a magicka build or a stamina build).

Having said that, you can be effective in any role with any class as long as you practice and put your skill points and attribute points in the right spots, and use appropriate gear.
