Pictures in forum signatures?

Hello.

Dark memories stir in my mind, tales from the beta and shortly after release when it was possible to add pictures to signatures. Then the Dark Times attacked! And with them came the Era of Nopictures.

Now, mere moments ago, I found out that it is possible to add pictures to signatures again if one redirects to their hosting place. Now I wonder - is this on purpose? Or ist it even allowed again?

Really hope not . The easiest way to make a forum look like complete crap is allow image sigs.

I smell a personal opinion attempting to be sold as fact. Oh, and I greatly disagree.

I'm pretty sure the easiest way to make a forum look like complete crap is to have the current forums ZOS has. You could add and take away any feature you want, this thing is FUGLY!

Hm. The forum looks clean and has a mild color scheme that is easy on the eyes and makes posts very readable. The forum is missing some functionality and always had some problems with categorizing sub forums. It however never needed more bright annoying fluff.

Not sure, but I know I saw the option to hide pictures in signatures. So for those of you who hate it, turn 'em off. Just in case.

Maybe allow them but at a very minimal size. 100px height max (similar to the avatars in the game).

My profile has images in the signatures turned off.

I turned it back on and see no images in any signatures.

Because I am unable to see images in signatures, I am forced to say that ZOS is not allowing them.

They won't pay for the extra hosting servers they'd need to have actual signature's and avatars. We've been asking since beta, this is the super new updated forum blah blah they been on about for well over 6 months now.
Personally i'd be looking at who is actually doing the forum re-vamp and WHY it's taking over 6 months so far with NO improvements.
