One of the (if not the) best sorc 1v1 builds at the moment IMO. Have you ever played with working either morph of encase into your build? (In no way a criticism, just curious if you had tried to make it work and how it went).

I have included encase in my build, when I get around to making my next video you will see some fights with me using it.

Man! We have almost the same exact bars. Except on my resto I'm using purge for all dem snipers out there.

I'm wondering if you would like to run together sometime. I'm kinda tired of waiting alone for my group to form.

Can I say though, those DKs were just pretty bad DKs..

Also, generally speaking an S&B sorc > non-S&B sorc.

Regardless, very cool stuff to learn from. Thank you for not showing yourself blowing people off horses or smooshing lower levels.

Nothing to see here just a sorcerer using one handed and shield for reflect... Move along folks.

Honestly I would be more impressed if it was a staff user and the DK seem really terrible.

After sharpened was fixed sorcs lost a decent amount of dps and in return lost heals from their passive. Sorcs can still fight 1vX just fine it just takes very well times resource management and picking the correct targets to focus during the fights while staying mobile.

Sabre Ali did it before he left and is still doing it after taking an extended break. Shield stacking properly increases your chances of survivability immensely.

Its good play mechanically. I did find it boring though. Just like i find playing my sorc boring atm.
To be more agressive you´d sadly have to use potions to a greater extend.
What sets do you use? You´re always really magica starved.

What i don´t get is: Why do so many sorcs use streak on both bars? That seems really wasteful.

Streak on both bars is just wasted, agreed.

i prefer wasting a slot - over dying because of bloody QBs refuse switching

I tried on just one bar but kept getting knocked down and killed during the weapon swap. I guess it's a bug that opens you up even though you are blocking. So I just went with it on both bars to prevent that.

I tend to switch a lot anyways because of my build. But my Resto bar is not completely defensive.
Guess it just takes getting used to either way.

Don´t you have problems with block in general? I got far more problems with block not registering at all - so the drop block when switching is only a slight annoyance (i don´t know if its a bug you can even see block dropping before the switch animation).

I know the devs were looking into block dropping during weapon swap but never heard weather it's just a thing now or if they are planning on changing back to the way it was where block didn't drop. Maybe it will change again in 1.6, during live they said they made weapon swap more responsive and changed it to a toggle or something that prevents double swapping.
