Why do cool armor sets have useless traits ?

VR12 Red Moutain Gear....which I would love to run....has EXPLORATION as a trait. Why ? VR12 people don't explore things ZOS.

✭✭There are many nice sets that have junk traits. Maybe on day we will be able to change traits on dropped sets.2 -

✭its because we have to live with the choices we make in the game, somethings have great bonuses, but loses a bit with the trait and reverse.
the Aether robe from SO for me is UGLY, but when I get it Ill have to live with looking like that for a while, since the bonus is more worth it1
