General Update For the Year?

So I do know that many games (mostly MMOs) at the beginning of a new year like to put out letters that kind of give players an idea of what will be happening in the coming months. The January Road Ahead article could very easily serve this role, but from the recent ones I have seen that they mostly only cover the next update and/or what has happened recently.

It would be awesome to get an idea of what is going on (future updates wise) in the next Road Ahead or another separate article altogether. Actually, I was thinking of something like the first Road Ahead after launch from May.

Any thoughts?

    Everything at Quakecon was what's going to be coming for a whole year. So we already know what's up with the first half of the year. Then this year at Quakecon they will probably do the same thing.

    I heard from someone working at Quakecon regarding ESO and the things to expect this year, he said;

    1. Everyone will be happy with class balances in 2015
    2. Lag in Cyrodiil will be a thing of the past
    3. The ESO forum will be free of QQ'ing

    :trollface:
    Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

    lol @kijima‌ :smile: I wish.

    @ers101284b14_ESO‌ , I do understand that they will announce more stuff at Quakecon, but I was just wondering if we will get a rundown of upcoming content for the relatively near future.

    Zos are so far behind with promised content that the next road ahead barely makes it to the next driveway.

    They are not really behind in content in way, since CS and the JS is coming in Update 6. More or less they are still on their schedule timing. Just depends how looks at it. New update comes out every 3 months or so is till on track since we are getting two for one.

    TBH, I much have polish (or close to it, but it can never can be completely polish) then rush content trying to meet a deadline.

    They may have almost kept up with an update schedule but they have no where near kept up with promised "content". As in real, new, playable content. Zeni claimed a $15 per month sub would pay the way for a steady stream of new content every six weeks and that's why they stuck to a subscription model, which I do agree with btw. Compare ESO with FF14 and it's night and day. Square's updates have been big and polished and they really set the benchmark for what a subscription should buy.
