Update 6: No Forced Skill / Stat Rest

Yes, I do understand that Update 6 will make armor type more important, it also will change how many many (all?) the skills will work, and how weapons will work as well.

At 1st, I like to use my pre-Update 6 skills and stats and see how they will work in the new CS system. I can get a better feel what to change around, then off the bat master reset of everything. Can we get a token or make the skill / morph / stat like cheap like 1 Gold for a week before it goes back to the normal price? It will gives us time to play around with our builds and test them some before we lock back into what we have selected.

What the rest of the players on this forum think about an idea like this, with or with out some tweaks to it?

Install PTS. Test your build there. Use knowledge gained when respeccing in live server.

By the way, I personally feel skill resets are cheap enough to do quite a bit of experimenting on all but the lowest level characters (who also have less skill points to respec).

I have a feeling that respecs will cost nothing or a token amount the first week of the CS.

It would be nice, and there is a precedent for it. I hope they give us a free/cheap respec. I'd prefer that to an automatic reset of skill points in certain skill lines.

They have done just certain skill lines before, but the CS seems to be more all encompassing than just certain skill sets. It is probably a code issue that prevents them from giving us the option of which skill lines to reset, in that they have to pick the ones and remove the skill points wholesale.
