More campaigns coming soon?

Last night around 10:00-10:30 PM EST, the NA campaigns displayed these simultaneous population stats:

Azura's Star - 2 bars for AD and EP; 1 bar for DC
Blackwater Blade - 2 bars for all three factions
Chillrend - 2 bars for DC; 1 bar for AD and EP
Haderus - 2 bars for all three factions
Thornblade - Pop locked for all three factions (over 50 in the EP queue)

Obviously the recent population cap reductions are responsible for these figures. However Cyrodiil has seen an influx of new players (or just characters?) lately. If this trend continues, additional campaigns besides Thorn will be pop locked.

Unless 1.6 contains a silver bullet for the performance issues, I would be surprised if the pop caps are increased much, if at all. The only other reasonable solution to handle an increasing number of players is the addition of more campaigns.

Does anyone think this is likely? Or are these pop numbers simply an aberration? Or will more campaigns start pop locking (with growing queues)?

No new campaigns until the current ones become filled.

All I know is from the DC side and even when it says pop locked , I'm never higher then 20 in que and it only takes 5 maybe 10 minutes at most to get in on any server .

How about less campaigns? Farm/buff servers shouldn't even be a thing.

A new wabba camp with the factions switched around or something would be fun.

Nope. We still need fewer campaigns. One non-vet, one 7 day, and one 14 day. Buff campaigns disappear.

I still think we should have 1 30 day. Having a non vet, 7, 14, and 30 would be ideal. This would keep from factions having a buff server because if one got close the other factions could easily step in. Would also allow for multiple tiers of campaign rewards.

Do people enjoy sitting in queues? There will be much more of that if overall Cyrodiil populations continue to increase and we reduce the number of campaigns.

Definitely not less campaigns... Where would those then play who don't like zergs or just ganking?

I've been in 50-70 person queues for DC during the primest of times, but that just gives me a chance to go after skyshards/achievements/random PvE stuff. I'd never PvE if it weren't for queues.

On topic: Add more campaigns is a terrible idea. There's only 1 (maybe two if you count the sub-50 one) that aren't just a buff server.

Nope. I started 69th (heh) in queue a few nights ago. That's an all time high for me.
