Hey guys! If this is the screenshots, fiction and more forum this creation falls under the "more" area as I have been streaming a lot of my Elder Scrolls time and took the hours of hundreds of highlights from last year and synced everything up to music as closely as I could.

Nice. That must have taken some serious editing. It took me hours to put together the clips for the three videos I did and the longest one of those ran for just under 5 mins.

Did you sort of do it as you went with the idea of putting it all together at the end or did you have to look through a whole year of footage to find the right bits? I tend to record things as I go and then put them into a 'use later' folder so I can put something together when I feel I am ready.

Hey man, well editted on your part also. When I stream I keep the highlights on the channel but going back over them was crazy. I knew I wanted the underlying theme to be that scroll run down video broken up to make it more interesting from starting at the forward camp to resing on the way, hunting the carrier, the kill, the pickup and the final return. Throughout that I wanted to illustrate the main types of fighting I enjoyed with all weapon types and sync it to the music as well as possible.

I was originally trying to keep it to one song but it proved there were too many scenes I had to cut, featuring duels in the beginning and middle, along with my pet Archer it all came together well. Took about a week of editting, watching nearly a hundred times and finally being happy with the result. Even now I can see 3 things I wish I did differently, but that just means the next one will be better. I too had trouble finding music that I felt fitted exactly and was about the right length - doesn't help that I that stuff I listen to doesn't really suit being background music mostly. For the third one I had to get a guildie help me do some extra bits because the piece of music I wanted to use was a minute longer than the footage I had!

Just one thing I wish I had done differently and that is I feel the swimming sequence in Santie Claws - The Movie should have been about 10 seconds shorter. But I was editing it at about 10pm at night on the very last day of the holidays (using windows movie maker) so I forgive myself in that respect!

Followed your twitch channel. I'm just not brave enough to try streaming yet - plus I muck about far too much and tend to get up and wander off to do housework from time to time! I'd be a lousy stream to watch.
