ZoS and ignoring exploits.

Its gone on far to long. Everything from things people are 50/50 on like dragon leaping to keeps, to blatant scroll stealing through locked gates. Doesn't matter what it is ZoS does nothing just sits by like a corrupt referee saying play on. Theres no punishment or bans nothing. Even heard an anecdote where an emp was bugged and doing thousands of damage with a DoT and he got what? a days ban. A DAY. Better yet the guy admits to working with ZoS after he got crowned to fix it. AFTER he got crowned. We wonder why exploits are running rampant but its obvious, no punishment no crime. BS.

And before anyone asks yes I am mad.

Sadly its not going to change anytime soon, people will always use exploits if given a option and its what everyone else is doing..just think of it like this everyone who plays has used an exploit at one time or another and gotten awhile with it.

Its pretty much encouraged at this point sadly, mainly cause you can stumble into one and not even realize it at times.

I must agree. Lagsploiting goes unmentioned, hacking through gates, perma stun exploits, speed hacks, you name it. This is about the worst run game I can recall.

lets not forget that DKs can go through gates and solo keeps without EVER letting the faction who owns said structure know it is happening

Fair play to the dk who solos keeps from leaping up, that sh*t is hard as f*ck.
I personally have not see it done. I wonder if its even possible seeing as he has to clear all the guards, get the front door down to 75% and flip both flags before the guards respawn.

Still don't get why people get upset over scrolls being taken behind a closed hate. I mean they are literally sitting there doing nothing until they take it.

I also don't know a single DK who has be able to leap from the outer to inner then kill everything and flip flags. It's like 5min or so for guards to respawn and it takes just as long to siege the door to 75% and even longer to flip the flags solo.

It's not that hard, really. You wait by the Gate, just out of range of the Gate's mages, then it opens and you charge in, immediately get far enough away to break combat, then stealth. Then you just wait a bit, maybe for 30 minutes or so after the Gate closes for everyone to disperse (having done it myself a few times, people leave the Scroll Temple very quickly), then go for it.

BUT, there is an issue of exploiters not getting any punishment, or very little. The whole "spawn-camping at Elsweyr/High Rock/Morrowind Gates" thing went on for days, and I don't recall anyone getting punished for that. One guy was reported dozens of times and was there nearly all day, every day, until ZOS made it impossible to get to those spawn zones.

This guy is upset about a bunch of unconfirmed rumors. I play thornblade quite a lot and haven't experienced any of these things he's crying about. Then he cries about an emperor bug that was fixed. How about gratz Zenimax for having enough sense to work with the emperor so it would be fixed faster instead of banning him and trying to figure it out alone.

You are correct, there are no exploits in ESO only "grey areas" lol. Meaning abuse the hell out of it until eventually fixed.

It is not a grey area to go through an open gate and then hide until the gate is closed and then take the scroll.

Thats not a grey area... it can't be a grey area if ESO staff literally stated many times its completely fine/intended..... I don't think you understand what a grey area means.....

And this entire thread is based on exploits that don't exist (ex being a DK soloing a keep, hasn't happened... clearly the guy doesn't realize that it must be damn near impossible to kill all guards and siege the inner to 75% before guards respawn or help arrives... its ludicrous, someone just made this up) or things that are not exploits (ex block casting or as I said before grabbing a flag after the gates have closed... completely viable tactic).

If you ask me this game doesn't have an exploit problem, it has a player thinking exploit problem.... I see more exploit cries in this game than any game I have ever played and 95% of the time someone cries exploit they are horridly wrong, don't understand game mechanics, or claim exploit if its something they don't like... there are freaking people who call impulse spam exploiting.... Learn what it freaking means people, just because it is something you don't like doesn't make it an exploit.

Hell I may be wrong, but the last exploit in this game that really caused any problems was the 1 shotting bow exploit and only a few people really caused issues with it and surprise surprise they got bans.

I know 1 DK non emp who has soloed a keeps but not on a full server. It was done on Chillrend during its buff time. That DK would be the great Aries.

Most of this stuff is only possible on a low pop battlefield. Yea ninja grab the scroll in Thornblade and watch 200 people run to kill you. Let that DK try to solo cap something in a populated server. He'd just attract attention then end up dead. This game is built for massive server battles not 10 man factions trying to save the world.

Which is why it's not exploits. It's just people complaining because they lack the skills and or knowledge to do it as well.
