Hello everyone
I started my download yesterday and it is at 14% right now. It's been about 13 hours now at this rate I should be in the game about mid June. My speeds are 223kb and slower, usually a lot slower. I am trying to download on my Mac laptop for now, windows later when I get that machine fixed. Anyone else having this problem. Or am I doing something wrong?

    I've been downloading for about 2.5 hours and am at 28% right now. I was downloading at a very low mb/s for a while there but now I'm at around 31.45 mb/s.

    The maths doesn't really add up. The % displayed includes installation, which is much quicker than download.

    And yes, given how expensive this game is, and that there would obviously be a traffic spike on release days, they really should have rented more temp servers to support reasonable download speeds. It is rather ludicrous that I'm getting 1.4mbs from Steam, but ~500kbs for ESO.

    If I went through steam , would I have to start back over?

    @MrSmith I'm guessing yes, but I'm not 100%. If Stream doesn't bypass the Launcher and doesn't save it in a different file, then it's a possibility that might work, but I don't think that's the case.

    I get ~2.4MB/s .I really hope that when the initial 23GB is done I don't have to download another 30GB of patches.

    My game went to 25% then went back and hit 0% then began re-downloading all over again. I've uninstalled and re-installed twice and nothing changed. Now the download is going even slower and my computer is lagging from it. If I leave my computer alone to download for 25 minutes or so, my download speed hits 0 as opposed to 2.8mb/s. My speed now is in the kb/s.. I really don't understand why it's doing this now.

    Your download speed is mostly do to your ISP or your network gateway not the host server. I say mostly cause when you get like 50,000 or so people downloading on the same net pathway things get clogged. This is why they made the game downloadable last Thursday.... but if you are really worried about it you can always bump your ISP to somewhere around a 15mb down/7mb up provider.

    The download percentage is the entire process, not just the download. I believe your download finishes around 24%, unpacks and installs, then continues to download another small patch.

    my dl speed reaches up to 7.5 megs a sec and my speeds varied from 1.8megs down to 2 kilobytes/s took 12 hours to download. then of course with my luck the servers went down for maintenance when it was done installing.

    Weird! I was putting along at the rate of a sleepy snail and all of a sudden a window called a launcher? (I think) opened up at 42% and after I clicked that it steadily climbed to 66% in a matter of a few minutes with around 50 something Mb left to download :D .......and then s l o w e d down again showing 5005.10 Mb left to download.............. :| . Don't understand that...but at least I gained some ground so mid June is out now I may be in game around the last third of May.

    seems that my router and modem were being naughty. i rebooted them and suddenly i was getting the proper download rates again.

    im getting 130-200 Kb/s so i think i will pass the 5 day early acces downloading

    I get the same issue and had it during beta also. My download starts around 1.12mB/s then after about 5 mins it drops to under 200kB/s. But if you pause the download and resume it will jump back up then of course 5 mins later it drops off but at least there is a rince and repeat system

    Iv been at 22 % now it's been about 3 or 4 days and it keeps stopping saying webget error or something and my speeds are a fast *** all 50kb/s or less this is wack
