Aspect of Terror Blockable?

I heard in 1.6 AOE skills will be blockable you guys think it will apply to Aspect of Terror?
I see reasons why it wouldn't (no damage)
I sorta feel like this will depend if AOE effects can be blocked in 1.6 Sorta like how caltrops snares even though you block it.
So ima just "assume" that if fear is blockable next patch that would mean many AOE effects can be blocked, since Aspect of Terror works that way.

For the love of god NO. Just... NO!
NB who suppose to be able to stun lock people have just one cc ability which cost hell of alot of magicka. And you want take it way ?
Why dont you just propose to remove NB class completely ?

The issue is how it works on a blocking target and them getting zero immunity if they are caught blocking when it's cast. Most NB are animation canceling ambush + fear now then following up with other attacks. Either you take the open no block damage from ambush and get stunned; or you block the ambush and take the fear with zero immunity after breaking it,

It's a lose lose for the enemy and should be adjusted in 1.6 to a certain extent.

I haven't seen the dev post yet but didn't someone say AoE spells are going to be blockable in 1.6?

If so Aspect of terror should follow that 'nerf'(?).

Anyway if not... yeah fear shouldn't be the only CC that goes through block, either balance it to the others or make other CC go through block as well to balance out. 1 class shouldn't have that much power through block if others can't.

Edit - To add yeah fighters guild gets a fear but that requires them to be a vamp... so yeah... and I'm a vamp and it seems the fighters guild one is blockable or bugged as still don't get feared when I'm in it.

It should never be blockable but you should get immunity even when you pressed block now it feels like an I win button when I play my nb

I doubt Fear would become blockable, given that Devs have stated that Fear being unblockable is working as intended.

Currently many magicka-based AoEs (e.g. Impulse) are not. Physical AoEs are however, as well as some others such as Spear Shards.

I think they meant that holding block will mitigate the damage of magicka-based AoE. I don't think the change has any bearing on CC.

Fear being unblockable isnt really game breaking.
Every class has cool and special abilities that make them special.
I mean DK has Dragons Blood and reflect and a damage shield.
Sorcs have Streak and damage shield (just a few examples)
Fear gives nightblades the option to bypass enemy defense and its what makes it special
honestly the only reason ALOT of people dislike it and says its broken is cuz 1 CC immunity doesnt apply (which it should) 2 they block cast like 99% of eso. when block casting is fixed people wont waste soo much stamina.
I play a magicka build like ALOT of people I know, People need to learn stamina is our weakness and fear it makes it show, Stamina builds NEVER complain about fear because they have stamina which is the perks of being that build.

overall I feel that the only thing that needs fixing is the CC immunity that it doesn't give. If they wanna balance the game they would need to nerf reflect,streak,fear,blazing shield. that would be boring everyone has there own little OP skills and its what makes it fun
