VOTE HERE

Just after we are crowned victor in the Great MMO Face-Off of 2014, the MMORPG.com awards continue once again! This time however, ESO is up against 10 other MMOs, rather than one.

There will be multiple rounds. ESO will be nominated for Best New MMO (We can win it twice, it seems :P), Best MMO of the Year (Let's win it twice!), and Best Expansion/Update (Update 6 will probably be in there). There are 4 categories where multiple MMOs are nominated.

In Round 1, ESO is running for Most Improved MMO - and is crushing its 10 competitors, plus WoW is in the mix. It has 45.5% of all the votes.

I shall rally the community once again to victory! Let's kick some more asses!

Cool. I'm happy with our last reward so sorry if I don't get as enthusiastic about this one. But let me know how it goes.

It's going to be a real bloodbath when the Best MMO of 2014 comes along...11 MMOs, including ESO, all competing in what is essentially The Great MMO Face-Off: The Sequel.

If we hope to win this thing, we're gonna need to try harder than we've ever tried before - even harder than the Finals and Semi-Finals combined.

    Dis gun b gud.

If ESO has any of these in the bag, it's gotta be this first one: Most Improved MMO. I really don't how it could possibly lose.

    1. There's no Camelot unchained on most anticipated MMO, but there is warhammer 40k & the division, both of which are not even MMORPG's.

    2. No ESO, Wildstar, or any other MMO released in 2014 on the biggest suprise of 2014, but there is WoW:D?

1.) CU and others are not due out in 2015. Hence not included. Will be next year.

2.) Those games weren't surprising unless you count underwhelming at launch. Which there is an argument for. But the category is more meant for games that genuinely surprised in a GOOD way.

The second quote, guys, is the author. Yep.

ESO is vastly improved. I haven't been playing any other MMOs though so I don't know how they stack up. I have played GW2, PS2, and SWTOR though so maybe I'll log in and see how they're doing.

Still voting for ESO of course.

Ubiased polls, aren't they just the best?

To be honest, I wasn't entirely sure what they meant by "surprising". Like, "This MMO wasn't even announced, but whoops, here it is!".

Damn, that's pretty bad. ESO was the MMO surprise of 2014 for me. I guess we should all just conform to the author's opinion.

I think I'll just not give them any traffic anymore. Sounds like they're now trying to milk these competitions for as much traffic as they can. I'm sure we'll get a "Best MMO to play in 2016" poll (or something like that) after this one.
