Hello ladies and Gents, I only started tot play this amazing game a few days ago and am only level 9 as I take things slow. As a new player I thought it would be wise to join a Nice guild. I made a request in the guild application/recruiting part of the forum but it seems very quiet over there. Also ingame I never see any recruiting messages whatsoever. I am playing Daggerfall Convenant on the EU server. Is there another forum somewhere which is more active with regards to recruiting/appying?

✭✭✭✭✭Sometimes guildmasters get pretty busy and forget to update their posts (looking at myself). Unfortunately I'm on the NA server but I believe Tamriel Foundry has some guilds listed. As well look farther back in the listings in that forum for guild threads. Although they haven't bumped it in awhile, they definitely could still be active.
Obviously things are different, as NA always has guilds recruiting. But maybe try asking in zone chat during prime time? I'd think someone would be happy to scoop up a new member they can help out

✭✭Just observe the Zone Chat. Most Guilds that also accept fresh players will post even in low level Zones.
I see a lot of em when i am in Glenumbra or Stormhaven. Stormhaven is better though. Its the next level Zone you enter at aroundish LvL 16/17.Edited by xMovingTarget on December 30, 2014 2:33AM0 -

✭I am on the EU server and in Auridon atm and there are a few guilds posting. If you are interested guilds like Hallowed Ground, Merchants of the Wulf and Shadow Walkers are recruiting. I think a guild by the name of Azurah's (something) is also recruiting a lot. I got a kick out of seeing this thread so soon after reading the one complaining about too much guild chat/ads in zone chat. Keep an eye on your chat box, and every so often throw out a question to the zone as to what guilds anyone would recommend. Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -
