They are being diverted from the forums by "something else" possibly many "something elses".
I recall earlier them saying that the update 6 patch notes were at about 20 pages so far - that will be keeping them busy if nothing else.
However the silence over the six month sub is certainly suspicious. If it is nothing to do with F2P then tell us that openly.
The key people were on holiday until yesterday, since when the forum monitors will have put together a report on some players' current concerns. That report will get passed to the decision makers who will consult their teams on those issues and then put together some form of response, assuming they feel one is both necessary and unlikely to be counter-productive at the present time. That response is therefore unlikely to be put out much before the end of the week, perhaps not until next week.
That's my take on it, based on how other games have dealt with these kinds of things which excite a significant number of players but not all of them by any means.

thats very specific....have you worked for a dev before ? ....im really asking im not being a smart butt i promise
Well....i understand what your saying...but when IGN, Kotaku, PCgamer etc etc pick up on it....i think it needs a clear answer at that point. You might disagree...but that just my take.
The simpleint way to look at the 'No comment' policy is in my opinion..
A person is looking for a new game to play,
He/she checks out the sites on a game called ESO they just heard about,
They see bad reviews and reports saying it's going to F2P very soon due to the removal of the 6 month sub,
No official post by ESO to deny this backs up that report,
They decide not to spend cash on game now and rather wait a few months for it to be F2P as they have been burned before by this is so many other MMO's.
Bad Press is Bad Press and should be denied as soon as possible. Sticking you head in the sand and hoping it will go away never works in business.
So this is what I'm saying....if I do something illegal...and my neighbor sees it I need not worry. If I do something illegal and the news reports on it then I will and should answer for it. I'm not saying what they are / not doing is illegal....I'm simply pointing out it's too big to sweep under the rug now.

(Bolded my emphasis)The Elder Scrolls Online removes six-month subs; F2P rumours abound
...
As noticed by... well, those who play the game, the only subscription selections available on the MMO are now either 30 or 90-day options.
On the French forums this was all explained away by a moderator as being a simple case of people preferring the shorter subs. But that's not a theory that's holding water with a vocal section of the community.
...
The official ZeniMax response on the French forums is simply that players indicated they preferred the shorter billing options, so the six-month option was removed. General sentiment in the thread is that this answer is not entirely credible.
[Thanks to Siphaed for the tip!]
People outside of ESO are talking about this....I guess we will see.

I think a simple yes or no would make sense to most of these questions !
