- Collectible drops are extremely rare and grindy, and there's still the issue that DC players can't get it if they didn't get a specific item that only drops for pre-VR players in DC territory.

Is that the reason why i have never (played since early access day 1) ever found one collecible? Darn it.

I'm okay if those achievement rewards are for "fluff" and don't actually effect game mechanics or stats though I -do- think some of them should. I love the idea of an achievements points vendor that sells fun stuff like costumes. I'd be okay with using achievement points to purchase additional hairstyles IF that means, once I've "purchased" a hairstyle I can use it on ANY of my characters (and I want costumes to be the same) and that I can keep it and switch it around (example: change my character's hairstyle from day to day any time I want to without cost or penalty) all I want. But there still ALSO needs to be a barber shop for which you can pay in game gold to get new hairstyles.
It's really disappointing to "use" a reward only to discover it just disappears and leaves you with nothing.
Dyes need to be unlockable in some other fashion as well. All the best colors are completely locked away from the vast majority of players and frankly that's just.... petty and stupid.

It's like a bucket list. They had stats like this in the standalone's too - how many horses you stole, kills, deaths, etc.
It's a nice novelty that lets you compare what you've done vs alts and other characters.
It also gives you something to do when you don't specifically want something to do.
The achievements are their own reward. The dyes and titles are bonuses allowing you do display them.
What people forget is that the series this was based on had some things that were there just because they could be.
CP's will give you your utility. Fishing integrating with provisioning.
The only thing I would like to see with this, it would be nice to have a method to display the trophies you collect, sometime in the future.

Different strokes for different folks. I'm a Master Angler, but have almost no Dungeopn achievements. Just because something is in the game doesn't mean everyone has to do it. Achievements are just one (optional) game aspect.Merlin13KAGL wrote: »

Why PvP and PvE gives to players some things which improve character power and PvA not?
So the reason to do achievements?-No reason.....because better to do PvP or PvE and get some profit which help you ingame. And such profit as "dyes/title" useless compare to some stuff you can get from PvP and PvE.

As for you "PvP,PvE,PvA"-graphic didn't you do PvP and/or PvE in order to complete you achievements?! I mean actually you already got payed!
Already confirmed it's just exp grind unfortuanallyWolfsspinne wrote: »CP should be earned by achievements only.
CP also "optional" aspect but after release you will see that players just grind to be more powerfull and to be comply to minimum demands for Trials run/endgame content.Ourorboros wrote: »

I don't want to be forced to play content I don't like to get gameplay enhancements to stay competitive.
We already have implemented progressional systems for our character and crafting. Why overcomplicate it?

(...) I've had dozens of Chattering Skulls, a couple Gyros and Dynamos and a few others, (...)
I would like to see more rewards other than title/dye for hard acivments. Mounts is something I really wish were introduced to the game soon. I remember playing other MMOs and you always felt overpower compere to others if you had achive a very hard acivment that rewarded you with a epic looking mount you could show of to everyone.
ETC on hard acviment would be:
Armoured Steed - Be rank Top 3 on leaderbord for trials/dragonstar arena and you get an epic mount
-
Emperors horse - Give the current emperor a epic mount to travel around with while being emperor, this should also have increased movement speed and stamina compered to other mounts.(degreade this to battle worn armour steed if the empreror loses the crown and become former emp)
Battle Worn Armour steed - Former emperor horse after losing emperors horse, this horse have normal horse stats.
Endrurance Horse- Complete trials 100times to unlocke this. This steed have increased stamina/speed buff than a normal horse.
Legendary Steed - Reach rank 1 on the leaderbord on atleast 3 trials at once. This horse would be looking epic and have hige stats compere to others, maybe increase invetory space by 100 at lvl 1?
Could be other mounts than a horse like those kasjhit tigers etc, but know zos dosnt wanna break lore so duno
So it's just standard horses for PvE single players like me? Nice..

Well.. Yes because this is what makes the mount special, you wanna feel special when your jumping on the back on these horses.
They should also add new types of mount for players who can't reach these goals wtih lesser effort acivment. But the main point is they should add something worth your time for doing these insane achivments, and make the player feel they achicved something great while riding on this beast.
You pretty much wanna stand out in the crowd, if everyone got access to these then its not special and you wont feel good about your self anymore. Take the former emperor title for example, it used to be "Oh my god you have been emperor!", and now its like "lol a former emperor, nice job emperor trader". Kinda lost it touch when everyone had access to it..
In the long run any achievements that we get should unlock something. Sadly this isn't the case in any MMO that I played. Most give points, but nothing can be done with said currency.
I know that Blizz once considered a shop for pets, mounts and stuff that players could buy with that currency. That however was later considered less good and the real money item shop came.
Since we don't have housing or any other RP stuff besides dyes, what could they give us?

Most Achievements need to be revised so they're account based.
On one character I have three crafts certified, on another I have another 3 certified but yet I do not have the dye for having all my crafts certified
It would also be nice to know which achievements I have unlocked on other characters by having that Dye highlighted in white no matter what character I'm on.
