[Justice System] ZOS add Prison System, release in Phased Approach

I seriously hope ZOS considers adding a "Prison System" to the Justice System for ESO. I know this would take consider work and effort; therefore, this could be accomplished in a phased approach, much like the Champion System.

What would the Prison System look like:

Players who commit illegal activities and are caught by City Guards, have the choice to pay a fine or go to prison (you can always pay a fine if you don't want to go to prison). Prisons are public dungeons. Once the player is ported into prison, they will be put to work and have to complete one of the following working quests below for the "Head NPC Prisoner,"

Choose one (1) of the following working quest below:

Laundry - Player have to clean clothes in the prison laundry room
Cooking - Players have to prepare food in the prison kitchen
Workshop - Players have to work in the prison workshop

Once the player completes one of the quests above, they will have access to the prison yard. The prison yard is large, has massive stone walls and is filled with giant rats. Kill the rats to eventually find the key to escape prison. To make things worse, criminals receive a de-buff, which prevents them from using any skills from their Skill Bar. Once the criminal escapes prison, that de-buff expires. In order to escape, you must get your gear from an unlocked chest before the exit.

The nice thing about having a few working quests is it keeps the system fresh and the player won't have to do the same job every time in prison. Thoughts?

Mmm, no. I don't want to waste time in prison. Also, I already seen this idea somewhere here. And what if I don't want to work? Also, in whole game we don't have any location from where we can't go to the city.

You can always pay a fine to get out of prison life.

Prison system is in their "future" plan. So don't lose your hope just yet.

It still breaks main rule to exit any quest anytime you want. And you can't exit from prison and go for trials or dsa. Or pledges. So, I would say no.

If you can't do the time, then don't do the crime.

    Precisely.

I mentioned it in another thread, I would like such a prison system, though I would want the escape to be more involved then "kill rats until key drops". Especially since people in prison really should not have their nifty gear, but prison rags and empty hands (yet one more reason for an unarmed skill line...)

More like a handful of lengthy and annoying miniquests to get together the stuff you need for an daring escape... from bedsheet ropes to prisoner-made shanks... should annoying enough that players may prefer not to repeat this particular quest if they can help it...

And of course, there ought to be an option of "doing your time", repeating "prison work" quests until you done them a number of times dependent on the severity of your crime, and be released. That too should be annoying, take a lot of time and quest repetitions, but ends up with your criminal record cleared while escape would leave it where it was.

Paying that fine should really look like the better alternative... on the plus side though, escape and going the whole distance could be achievements with unlocking new dyes... (or special "prison" tatoos for the someday coming barbershop...)

Oh, and remember... don't drop that soap! ;-p

As much as I would love this, it ain't happening. They aren't going to be able to sell the concept to any of the MMO players in the community.
