Me and others I have talked to are receiving an error when we try to start the launcher. Error 206 PatchManifestError_UnzipFailed along with a message saying the server is down for maintenance when multiple people are in game playing right now.

How many people out there are receiving this same issue?

I only have a dragon knight left to level and then i'll have one of each class at CP rank.

    I know of two in my guild at least, they used eso.exe to launch directly.

    Are you a bitdefender user?
    In case you are having a problem loging into the game just go to BitDefender -> Protection -> Web Protection -> Whitelist and add "launcher.bethesda.net" to the list. Afterwards just run the launcher again and you'll be able to login. Cheers

    you probably have the 2014 version, you should update to the 2015. I dont know where you can put this on the 2014 version but its bound to have a whitelist of web adresses

    I have the free antivirus bitdefender and it does not appear to have a 2015 version. More so, I can not find a whitelist anywhere.

    Dont see anything useful. Try disabling BD completly. It's not a great advice but atl you'll be able to play, just dont forget to re-enable it after playing

    When I disable it, ESO works correctly, but I do not feel so good about playing without some sort of virus protection.

    Just bypass the launcher and click the eso.exe
    you can play doing that while you figure out how to get the darn launcher fixed. what I am doing
