Failed character appearance vs Deletion limit. Solution?

I often reroll characters on the first 15 levels when i pick a class i decide i do not like or make an error on appearance and results do not please my eye in the game.

Solution? I think that at least to some degree, a character appearance template you can save on your computer would help this. When you get exact right body or face and want to use them when rerolling, pick a template and you have succesful appearance at hand. No fusas on sliders and getting wrong appearance..

Add to that.. People could share the best results with other people to use with their characters guidelines

Just opening up the already existing face/body tabs in character select would fix the problem. I really, really, really hope they announce character customization and armor cosmetic options this year (Quake Con would be perfect

)

A few things I would really like them to do:

1) Let us save appearances at character creation like you mentioned. This would allow us to easily recreate a character's appearance without having to reset every option.

2) Give us a facemaker/barber in the game so that we can adjust the character once it is created.

3) Give us better lighting in the character creator, one that more accurately represents in-game lighting.

4) They should make sure that the options in the character creator actually look the same in-game. I have seen a number of options on my own characters look different once they are in game.

I really love how i can just save all character option for later use in STO, wish that would really come here too.. Along with barber shop naturally

Saving designs? Or rather a post-creation edit option?

I'm all for the latter... it would be much better to just be able to fix small things then reroll... especially when you play your characters a while before you notice something doesn't look like you thought it would.

Yes, I generally agree. Especially with 3 & 4. There's just too much of a difference between character creation graphics and in-game graphics.

I'd love a barber to change in-game hair/accessories too, not sure why it's wasn't in the game from the beginning.
