What's wrong with the food buffs?

As you probably know, the actual buff on the stats you get from food is way lower than the tooltips say. But why is that? Did ZOS ever say anything about that issue?

✭Not sure about that, but.. they also dont stack with drink buffs, which I for one prefer.
Doesnt matter for long tho, as update 1.6 will change that along with the Provisioning Revamp.Power level to CP160 in a week:

✭✭I think that the value for health is fine but the magicka and stamina are wrong on the tooltip and use the 1.5 multiplicator that was supposed to only affect health.

Yes, I am aware of the problem. I did submit a bug report but also doubt it was a bug and they knew full well and just decided to not tell anyone.
eg. A blue health and stamina (or magicka) says it will give 468 to max health and stamina but actually gives 482 to health and 331 to stamina.
The tool tips for the coming VR10 food doesn't say a health and stamina/magicka food gives the same amount anymore, so they will wait for 1.6 provisioning revamp to correct things. Edit: I imagine.Edited by Zorgon_The_Revenged on January 1, 2015 7:58PM0 -

who, me? It's the same for any of my characters, be they lvl 25 or VR14. I specifically used a stat which I knew I wasn't going to hit soft cap.
I first noticed on a new alt I made. I had a blue health and magicka recipe for lvl25 and worked enchants and my attributes around getting close to the softcap of magicka with the blue food buff, but obviously when I chomped down my fancy blue food I came up short. Sure things weren't like this before the update vet players got their skill and attribute points reward for each vet level (the stat changes went up on the recipes.....at least the health).Edited by Zorgon_The_Revenged on January 1, 2015 9:27PM0 -

enriched honey brittle and fortified sweetroll for sure, plus all blue health and stam/mag food I used on my alt from lvl25 to VR1.
Just chomped on some Consummate Honey Brittle (the posh purple one) but didn't get the +385 to all stats: H +385, M + 193(into softcap), S +273.0
