Will you fix the Templar charge... ever?

It was stated a very long time ago that a goal across future updates was to make combat more responsive by tweaking animations, improving performance, and such. So why, months later, is the templar ability, Focused / Explosive / Toppling Charge, still on this abysmal global cooldown? I love the ability. I love what it does. I just hate using it because it feels like my ping is 1000 whenever I do.

I remember reading something about why it was made this way to begin with, but the specifics have slipped my mind. I see no reason why it can't be made to function well with a more fluid feel to it. No ability should be this unresponsive. But hey, at least we aren't overshooting targets by a mile anymore.

    Ah, by adding "update 6" or "1.6" to my search, I was able to find some actual useful information. I guess that wraps this thread up xD

    We agree that the post global cooldown on Focused Charge is a little too long right now. We do plan to reduce it so you can cast your next ability sooner after the charge is complete, in Update 6.

    Lolz.. at least you are not over running your target every time you use it and have to step back and search in order to reacquire the target, unless you are also a Sword and Board Templar.
    Power level to CP160 in a week:
    Where is the end game? You just played it.
    Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

    I was sword & board, and still use it, but I've been experimenting with dropping the stamina charge, as it is very costly in PVP. I also briefly dropped it for a two-hander, but that was like twelve seconds before they announced the removal of the immobilize. Oh, well. That was fun while it lasted. All twelve seconds.

    The Charge was nerfed initially because of Templar bots that would just spam that and Jabs all day long. They also put a hidden animation break on Jabs at this time. Anyone else notice that Jabs is the only channeled ability that cancels completely if you animation cancel it? No other skill will completely break on animation canceling from any class. Hence why it's not used in DPS rotation anymore and why Templar DPS is a joke.

    So, as it is with all things, ZOS response to this is to punish legitimate players and hope they never notice.

    Charge isn't the only broken Templar ability, we have a whole slew of them. Any "fixes" in the last 6 months? Nope, So don't expect them anytime soon.

    I have found with all the back tracking and misinformation (or lack of information, take your pick, both are happening) from the CSRs and Devs, you can't trust a thing they say. Not because they are untrustworthy, but because they are told one thing, and another thing happens.

    Charge then Jab, that truly screws me up. I end up permanently holding a spear thrust out before me and can longer do anything except die.

    No, it still overshoots targets, that's why I decided to go with a different charge...

    It's also very prone to getting stuck in the animation, rendering you helpless and locking up your ability bar.
    Please fix that too.

    No, it still overshoots targets, that's why I decided to go with a different charge...

    I just tried it and it didn't do this.

    I'm very glad to see that ZOS is addressing this issue in update 6! I haven't played a Templar since beta(yet) but I remember how clunky the class charge felt and it was a massive turn-off when compared to the other charges.
