So ever since the last patch I've really been noticing this. It used to be that our characters had an interesting range of facial expressions. And these could be affected by using emotes. If I wanted my character to have an angry or grumpy expression I used the /no emote and after shaking her head her expression would remain angry until I used a different emote. If I wanted her to have a sweet happy expression all I had to do was use the /yes emote and the accompanying expression would stick. To return to a neutral expression all I had to do was use /shrug. There are other examples but these are the common ones that really stick out to me. Since the patch characters are always blank/neutral regardless of what emotes you use. I certainly hope this is not intended. It seems kind of silly to me that ZoS went to a lot of trouble to give NPCs a vastly larger range of facial expression....and stole what little we had as player characters.
