...can we please have a Zenimax(not an add-on) implemented way to compartmentalize our inventory? Say divide our inventory into separate sections so that we can put armor/weapons sets that go together into the same spot....here's an example from LOTRO; (this is not my LOTRO toon btw, just a random screenie I found)

While I 100% agree that ZOS should add this to the core game, there is an amazing add-on out there called Advanced Filters that does this job and does it amazingly well.

I use this addon as well and its great. I still halfway agree with OP because AF addon does not allow preference grouping, which I think OP is really getting at.
For instance - I carry around 3 sets of gear with all necessary jewelery for them. I would like to be able to put all that in a hidden (or separate) bag so that it does not show up when visiting my bank or visiting a vendor to sell.
Best thing I have found that helps is Item Saver, which allows you to mark items that you want to save. Makes it a little easier, but my obsessive micro-management
tendencies get really worked up when I'm done running Trials/Vet Ds/Crag and have to dig through the vendor trash.#nerfkeyboards0
