ZOS Please Ban Winged Twilights from Banks

They have no business being there and it shows a lack of respect for all others in the room. You are in the bank to conduct business and most are crowded and all you see are these flapping wings.

It's a simple concept. Don't allow any vanity pets, summons, or magical effects inside of banks or at crafting stations. Wouldn't take them 2 minutes to do this.

It would take a lot longer than 2 minutes, especially crafting stations....since they are often outside lol

If you can not ban them then at least allow others to kill them in the banks.

I believe it's not the first time someone is asking for that here on the forums (I think I might have even replied, or maybe it was a conversation with the customer support, I forgot), but yes, the problem still exists.

The flapping wings are annoying as hell, also that constant snoring coming from the Clannfears. Back then when I was mainly playing my Sorcerers I used to unsummon the Daedras before entering a town, just because I knew how it is for others (I played a NB first, so...).
When I now see them in the bank all the time, I think these players either don't care, or they are newbies showing off their ability to summon Daedras.

Also annoying is the loop sound coming from pets, like f.e. this never ending walking sound from a Scuttler.

Another great thing was when the Daedras and pets had collision and every important door in cities was blocked all the time as well as the mudcrabs blocking the way every meter, especially in banks. You only could jump over them, or rolldodge through the Clannfear to finally be able to leave that zoo. What a picture, really immersive. To be honest, this was as stupid as it could possibly be. At least this got removed again.

Generally I'd suggest to NOT being able to cast ANY spells or activate pets in cities. This being removed, the spell-spamming in banks would be gone also.

Last time someone was spamming healing spells in a bank and I told them to stop it, they said they need to gain ultimate (!?!), I said they should go get their stupid ultimate some place else. Definitely too many 5-year-olds in the game.

Automatically unsummon the Daedras as soon as the player passes the city gate would be nice, as well as spellcasting and activating pets would be removed there.

If they would disable it for the whole cities, these problems would be solved. Doesn't matter how long it takes, it needs to be done.

Though I tend to agree, this would mess up their "vision" for the cops and criminal add-on we got coming someday "soon".

Agreed but it would take longer then two minutes.

No casting, no drawing weapons, no pets. Many of the spells are forced emotes and casting should be suspended in safe areas in general.

All this would be great and you'd think it wouldn't be that hard. But I've been bug reporting the log out countdown timer for combat happening inside banks for months now and they won't even fix that.

I am a summoned pets Sorcerer myself and I agree. Summoned creatures have no place in cities. Spells shouldn't be used in cities anyway. This is disrespectful and BARBARIC !

This wouldn't matter one bit for the banks and crafting areas, as these contain essential NPC's and they can't be killed anyway, so there is no need for combat in these areas.

The two minutes thing is just saying how easy it would be to implement, I know it would take a little longer than that. It is, however, extremely simple. All they have to do is enable a trigger/switch when you enter the bank. Upon entering the bank, all pets, summons, and effects are disabled. Upon leaving the bank, those abilities are restored. It's that simple.

For crafting areas, use the same system they already have in place for caves and other areas. Once you breech the threshold of a cave, you are dismounted and can't call your horse. Do the exact same thing for crafting areas. Once you enter the bounding box for the crafting area, all pets and summons are put away and no magical effects are allowed.

Ban alts from banks. They stand in there all day most of which are naked. I am there to conduct business, not have a very large Nord arse in my face. Ban Nords too please, their beards rival that of my Orc.

Yeah, I suggested it ages ago, but had mixed responses, some agreed, others didn't.

I really don't understand this thread. What is the point of having vanity pets unless they're noticeable by other players. Whether it's flapping wings, whirring noises or what have you, the point is that they do something interesting that appeals to the player, and is noticeable by other players.

This is the same as wearing jewelry or nice clothes in real life, owning a nice car, fancy shoes, tattoos, unusual hairstyles, etc. If you don't like other people in your game, go play a single player game. This is a social game, and isn't a place for the bigoted, intolerant, or anti-social.

It's about being able to walk into a bank (or crafting area) and being able to see the cashier so you can click on them.

They at least got rid of the colision detection so you can walk through them (they used to block banks up so you couldn't get in or out). but they block the view.

Oh and Winged twilights are NOT vanity pets, they are summoned familiars who actually fight.

I think they can be made to unrender for a player that goes into a menu or a chat screen with an npc and it would solve the problem. The pets on my screen during banking does annoy the hell out of me too, but banning them from banks and whatnot is just not going to happen.

So the only way to be noticed to make yourself annoying? That's fine just do it anywhere but the Bank and Crafting stations. Trust me you will be noticed everywhere else.

LOL. After they implement this framerates in PvP drop by 20.

Why should the fps drop? I don't get it. It's about to remove something, not to add.

He/she was joking... Last time they updated building interiors (the lighting "improvements" of 1.2 or 1.3), frame rates in Cyrodiil plummeted to 4-12 fps for most players.

With the justice system, they should make pets also attackable by other players.

Those spheres making that annoying *trrrr* *clonk* tssshhh* *trrrr* *clonk* *clonk* noise while I'm trying to sort my bank would be the first ones to go...
