Actual PvP xp accrual is so incredibly low that it's painful. Normally this would be a non-factor however now actual character progression will be involved with the Champion System. I recorded the amount of XP I have earned in active PvP while in Cyrodiil fighting large groups and even some small scale fights. 6,372 xp for my lv26 alt during that period of time and I have around 28k xp left to gain until lv27. Granted, the xp gains might differ once a player hits certain levels or ranks however the xp gain is atrocious. I killed a vr3 player as a lv26 and was only rewarded 64xp... Just to let that sink in SIXTY FOUR EXPERIENCE POINTS! Get it that time? I'm almost certain I gain more xp from killing a mudcrab or a wolf.
Zenimax PvP Team,
Please don't cause Cyrodiil to be a wasteland. If this poor xp rate continues when the champion system arrives then why would people put themselves at a disadvantage to earn these valuable points in PvP when they can easily gain it elsewhere and at a higher reward rate? This is an MMO and people will go where the XP is plentiful and that is NOT Cyrodiil. If you're worried about kill trading then I suggest that you figure out a preemptive system to recognize that behavior and prevent it.
Please figure out what you're going to do with Cyrodiil. Thanks a bunch in advance since I can't possibly see you letting this continue into patch 1.6.
