But some things i might want to know before i do so.

1. Have they changed so you can have more than 5 "?" abilities up at once? This was probably the biggest problem i had with the game.

2. Are the racials still the same or have they been changed? Think a few races had useless racials when i looked around.

3. How is the endgame?

4. Seeing a few patches has been out.. How are the patching? Anything great added and such?

Might be more but i can't think of anything right of the bat.

Edit: Got my username changed it seems Oo

Don't even bother subbing until after the next update. The entire game is completely changed. If you subbed now, you would just be confused when the next update hits in January.

    1. Still 5 skills + 1 Ultimate.
    2. Some racials changed (Nord, for one).
    3. Depends on whether you consider PvE or PvP to be endgame.
    4. Patches are huge. Hope you don't have bandwidth limits. Next udpate is going to be at least 20GB's.

    Thanks for the inputs!

Just remembered that you had to be in a trading guild during beta. Is that still a "must"?

Also you had to buy a special edition to use any race in any faction or is that changed aswell? If i'm buying it i will make an orc again but that starting zone was one of the dullest things i did in the game.

That was the Explorer's Pack, and yes, it's still available. You don't have to be in a trading guild, there are now guild traders everywhere that are accessible by everyone.

Which alliance did you start with the first time? There were maaaaany bugs in quests back in Beta and at game release, which coud have given you a bad impression of the zone. 98% of the quests are working properly now and it is entirely possible to skip the starting islands, even though I like most of them a lot (expect for the ones in the Ebonheart Pact).

Not if you only want to buy. The trading guilds now have NPC merchants spread around the game world that sell the guild's wares to anyone.

You only need to be in a trading guild if you want to use those merchants to sell.

Daggerfall.. All the starting zones for them made me want to log on to the nord i made again. :| And it was not due to bugs and such but due to boring zones with boring quests.

To each his own... after playing though the complete veteran content(all 3 alliances), i can say glenumbra/stormhaven are my favorite zones by far :)

Hmm last 2 things for tonight.

    1. Thinking of getting the game on steam but i did not see the explorer pack? I guess you can just buy it from the ESO shop or something?

    2. Any reasons to not get it of steam? I got most of my games there but no MMO..

    1. Explorer's pack was for pre-orders and physical copies. Hardcopies of the game can still be purchased at store like Wal-Mart, etc... These come with the Explorer's Pack.

The Explorer's Pack isn't sold by ZOS anymore. You can find it included in some hard copies of the game or on the interwebs (G2A still has it, I believe).

So the only way to choose faction is hoping to find one of those hard copies? Aww crap :/

No, they didn't. This was and is still one of the features that I dislike the most.It however was not enough to keep from playing the game since launch or recommending the game to anyone wholeheartedly until yesterday. However after their recent announcement on ultimate generation and buff/debuff consolidation I am for the first time in that position.

If you disliked the 5 slot bar because thought it is meant to limit diversity, complexity and dynamic play-style then this is probably not the game for you and in the next patch ZOS seems to take another huge step in that direction.

Endgame is pretty nice in 1.5.
