I seem to recall a certain few threads before decibel became a thing, where BDG/TKO was called out numerous times for destroying PvP forever because we would daily push red to their gates on Dawnbreaker.

Well when you consider Crystalized is a carbon copy of Morinth, right down to the skills and even the outfit... you begin to see that IR learned how to play this game from the rollings they took from us back in the day.

The tears were delicious then, and they are delicious now, considering the last time TKO ran into IR, we wiped them without a single casualty. This was... five days ago? Six?

By all means come and observe the next time they are farming a resource node, TKO shows up, and IR gets destroyed. Happens every time.

I have literally watched them pick up and leave and go fight blue because they had had enough of us ruining their fun.

Ask them sometime about the Ash Lumber incident where we farmed them for three hours for over 280,000 AP.

Don't look at me to save you, anonymous EP person. Crystalized was Emperor on Chillrend cycles 2.0 and 3.0. They may not have been on Dawnbreaker, but they were on the campaign that all of Dawnbreaker moved to -- Chillrend -- to escape the Thornblade 1.0 lagfests.

What's funny is that it was considered by us back on DB/Chill that Morinth carried TKO. She was, by far, the best player to come out of that guild. Let that speak highly of her, as she was a fantastic sorc.

But if she wasn't with TKO, man, they got mulched. Even when she was with them, we still regularly took them down in outnumbered situations (and they could not take a keep from us). Heck, once they back capped Chalman and we just walked up and yanked the keep back out from underneath them, with them sitting in it. I got some angry, angry tells from Morinth that evening.

I miss Morinth. She was funny, and a good player.

At the time she was literally our only negate sorc. Made a world of difference.

And we had multiple skilled negaters at the time.

Our first encounter with EHJ as well was an example of that. Defending Aleswell, we jumped their train from the flank and layered three negates over them while they were trying to clear the front, inner porch. They died in a pool of oil and banners.

Negate is a very, very powerful tool that seemed to take a while for some sorcs to pick up on.

I know, and sadly because I had to roll healer after a couple quit at the end of dawnbreaker I never did get around to leveling up my AD sorc. Got one on EP, but that didnt help matters XD

Weve got better negaters now, but if it wasnt for her constant... exploding... in TS we probably never would have had them.

That's actually selling them short. There's lots of things that a sorc can do other than negate, and they should be utilized.

They can heal with a resto staff (quite well, actually). They can help focus individual targets. They can be part of an impulse train with a destro staff. They can group CC with streak.

Just calling them negates is selling them short as players and you as a commander for not utilizing them beyond that.
