you have like 5 seconds to dogde roll it. ideally you can deal lots of damage first due to nop block and if it is ever cast without immovable, you have over a seond to stun the templar

i am not sure about this, but i think it should be possible to dodge two of them (if spammed) with a single roll

when someone posts something like this on the forums, they are not talking about 1v1, they are talking group play. dodge is not a suitable counter, dodge is also broken.
Oh ill just dodge out of the nova, no i won't i'll be cc'd mid dodge roll....

If there are such bad players. Well, yes, then it's okay.

If there's 20 bad players just dumping offensive spells on you, you should still go down pretty quickly, I don't care how good you are. Being able to stay alive against a whole raid of people attack you is called imbalanced.

If you're good and take 3-5 people down by yourself, yeah that makes sense.

Dark flare spam?? all the templars i have faced the past 2 weeks have done is spam blazing shield and biting jabs:D

im serious too. I have not faced one templar the past two weeks that did something besides spamming blazing shield and biting jabs. they are entertaining to fight, but the damage shield stacking gets old.

so what is dark flare, that ranged attack that takes time to cast? i recall seeing it in BwB before i went to had facing waves of AD jab spamming templars.

Dark flare has a cast time, is single target, and is pretty easy to predict and block. It doesn't even make the honorable mentions section on the most OP stuff in the game list.

Any healing debuff stacking with any other healing debuff makes a mockery of the joke that is balance in this game.

Other games have moved to <=20% healing debuffs for balance reasons, yet this game has 75% healing debuffs and stacking healing debuffs.

Theres fear that kills my stamina and moves me off my veil. Which goes through block as well and doesn't even apply immunity if i don't break it.

Negate kills my ulti. I dont run immovable so this also kills my stam.

You can always spread out but this is why you find me at gates and bridges

Then theres heal debuffs but when i purge i have so many negative effects on me four cleanses in a row doesnt do anything.

I would honestly be ok if heal debuffs were priority when you purge.

You do realize that blazing shield is really the only templar skill that gets stronger with more people around, and blinding flashes + puncturing sweep can dominate melee combat if done properly. If done poorly you may as well be playing a horse simulator.

The only way I kill DKs is with Dark flare.. Throw it twice, then blast 'em up with arrows. Even then, they dodge or reflect most of that *** back at my face and I gota dodge my own attacks with the flappin Dks.

Dark Flare is a big part of my setup. But now I don't feel like I can use it even once without people getting bent out shape.

Its a non issue until you put yourself in a position where your trying to stay alive fighting an x amount of people. Then you have the templars start spamming it on you because they know it will pretty much end you in 5 seconds because the heal debuff stacks.
