Hand-To-Claw: One Can Not Out Smart A Khajiit!

Who else want hand to hand (or claw to claw) combat? For traits, "weapon bonus" etc, one can use gloves instead of swords for those calculations for the game engine. It somehow it is so much fun to beat the crap out of Dunmer slaver with one's own claws!

Khajiit should get the best bonus because their claws are the sharpest and they also have Goutfang, Whispering Fang and Rawlith Khaj.

Argonains are number two for a bonus, they also have claws, but not as big or shap then a Khajiit, but Argonian's claws are way way sharper then a man or mer.

Man and Mer is the base line for the damage bonus.

Does anyone else want this or have other ideas how to make it work in a MMO?

It's been brought up a few times before, but yeah, I'm down. I love unarmed combat.

Khajiit sees you are also in the Khajiit Lovers Steam Group! It is always a nice surprise to find fellow members.

This one also agrees that she would enjoy it very much if she could use her claws in proper combat.
I love the Power Glove! It's so bad!
i also do art and stuff i guess, here's my twitter

Alright you try to punch and scratch through armor, and I will hit you with a sword.

I miss Unarmed and Unarmored skills in the game. Punching through armor is no less of a stretch than pointing a stick and something and having flames come out of it.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Unarmed would be fun, but I'd rather see polearms/spears implemented first.

A magical staff is a "polearm" :p I rather have a new skill line tree called unarmed combat then spear like weapons. Spears is way over done compare to unarmed combat. I rather see something different (IE unarmed combat) then the same old same old spears.

A staff is not a polearm. Polearms are made for melee(ish) combat.

That said, I was thinking that would be absurd... until I remembered my Nord gets a flat 6% DR. You can have what you want.

I agree with you on this point, how magic staffs are used in ESO, they are melee weapons, but let us step back from the game for a bit and think about it.

We is a magic staff? It just a length of wood with a weight at an end. (for the focus point of the spells). What real life weapon close to a magic staff and also a melee weapon? A Bo staff! As one can see in this video, it can be used as a weapon. The way one spin the staff and how one use will be a little different because of the weight at the end then what is shown in the video, it will take much to see in one's mind eye how such a weapon is melee. So a magic staff can be melee weapon. Also, if we replace the weight at the end for the magic focus and put a blade there? that is another type of real world weapon, we can used a base for how to use a magic staff as a melee weapon.

This is a little off topic, but a magic staff is a melee weapon even if ESO does not show it as such. I do not want to talk about this game, but it shows how a magic staff is used a melee weapon.

Appearances aside, I can't skewer, gore, or leg sweep my enemies with a destro or resto staff. They're not polearms no matter what they look like.

A polearm weapon tree is needed.
