What kind of builds and bar setups are being used? Wasn't exactly going for FOTM here, just seemed like a fun character to try out

Google "ESO DK Crushing Shock build" and you should find plenty of info. You can take the FOTM build and tweak it to match your own play style.

Even if you don't want it OP, the destro "fire mage" DK is as FOTM as FOTM can be.

You are playing a DK, even with bare hands you can still out DPS the other classes >.>

As a NB I easily reduce the whip dmg to 200 uncrit and zero dot dmg, just using skills and enchants. (same for crushing shock (maybe not to 200 but still rly low)

A DK is Nr 1 if the enemy's he fight don't know how to play their classes.
But yes DK with Destro is effective cause it seems like 95% of the player base played PvP for the first time. Good luck.
