@bravoalpharomeo you are what is ruining ESO and not fixing it. Thank you!
It's only a problem if you stand in one .
on a serious note , I've noticed after the chimp spammers sprout Wizard of Oz monkey wings in unison , the sound bug starts followed by the lag , just like in the Wizard of Oz . Everyone starts screaming an running away .

Add this to list of people to add to my bat swarm MLG list.
I didn't ask for it to be removed. However, if you can not see the issue with a moving aoe that is also a heal that costs only 200 ultimate, when almost every player in Cyrodiil uses it, and just decide to be an ignorant *** instead because it's something YOU like, then YOU are what is ruining ESO. I never said vampires should be removed from the game. However, just like its counterpart, it shouldn't become a critical mechanic in PvP. The only thing I'd like changed about it, is one of two things. I'll even let you pick, since you're the vampire ambassador to ZOS, apparently. Either make it a static AOE, just like all the others, or restrict (at least to some degree) the use of other abilities while it is active. This would make it require at least some amount of cognitive thinking and tactical ability to effectively employ it, just like EVERY other common Cyrodiil ultimate (negate, standard, etc). It's only a problem if you stand in one .

I realize this. However, a big issue that I'm seeing personally, and hearing from a lot of people EVERY night, is that once it starts being spammed, we can't see it. Sometimes I'll hear the sound, which usually gives me the opportunity to move out of the way, but a lot of times I don't get a visual OR sound queue. I don't know if you were there, but just about an hour ago TFL's entire group as well as our group of 26 players were wiped on a flag by about 10 EP (you can probably guess who they were). 3/5 attacks on the majority of our logs: I'm sure you can figure it out.
It's also a critical element of the pulse groups, which you can in no way shape or form deny are ruining PvP. So, @Princess_Asgari, next time you don't have anything valuable to contribute to a conversation besides a default personal attack, don't be a child about it. Just keep your hands away from the keyboard.
I seriously had to check the date of the OP, I thought this thread would be months old - didn't think batswarm was an issue anymore.
If however something is causing it not to appear neither through sight or sound that needs to be fixed, and obviously abuse of the skill is a problem that needs addressing.
I slot the skill because it looks like the new Dracula movie when I fight :-P
What can be done about it?
Up the ultimate cost: Wouldn't affect the monkeys (or what you call them) since they build ultimate fast... I solo single target stamina roam, I don't build ultimate fast.
Lower the healing (again): Wouldn't stop them from spamming it as they probably don't even care about the healing.
Nerf the damage: What would even be the point of bat swarm if it did next to no damage? I guess if the cost was lowered with it, it could make sense...
What do you guys suggest bat swarm needs?

As the OP suggests it could be made static like the other ulties. The impulse spam trains then would not be as extremely overpowered as they currently are. It would be good for PvP all around.

Just curious.

There is a good reason Swarm is popular in PvP, especially in larger fights.
/drumRoll
Sorc's (edit: and NPC Menders) can't Negate it
If they could i'm pretty sure a lot of players would reconsider being Vamp.
Ofc, however good Swarmer's know that keeping close to 100% uptime on Immovable equals "who cares about Negate and Fear?"Princess_Asgari wrote: »There is a good reason Swarm is popular in PvP, especially in larger fights.

well players in negates can be suppressed and not get their bats off in time to survive..

Yeah I get that, but what about me feeling like I'm the Dracula movie then, huh? :-P
All I'm trying to say is a nerf to counter the zergs will in effect only hurt players like me as the zergs will just find something new to abuse. Some of us (bat swarm users) are actually just playing the game as intended, and it seems to me that if you could actually see and/or hear the swarm then it's quite easily avoided. I have never "stomped an entire zerg" with bat swarm, let alone won or lost a fight because of it.

It wasn't that good a movie =p If you want it like the movie then you all would be dead in daylight or stuck in a cave somewhere all day.
Then the only lag maybe at nightime (in game). I would take the next skill of the month any day over Batswamming tbh. It's far too effective in the zerg. Solo not so much though.
Maybe instead of nerfing vamps (which everyone demands, forgeting about drawbacks we receive), fix the lag, and zerg meta.

I wish immovable worked %100 of the time for me.
