without ground oils its so hard to hold those farms now. 1 group who knows what they are doing can wreck a farm group way easier than they used to be able to.
What I can't believe is that these players keep doing it night after night. It's like they cannot be taught or are somehow intentionally ignorant.
It's becoming a routine tactic for EP (and sometimes AD) because these guys keep falling for it.
The real problem might be is that they know DC is unlikely to lolzerg blob into the tower, and they use that 'weakness' against us. It usually takes upwards of 20mins for enough decent players to gather together to push them out.
I mean it seems that the DC pvp guilds would rather just ignore them and leave them in the tower, than actually fight them. So it just leaves the pugs to handle business pug-style.

Far better AP gains elsewhere.

We would have to go do it a lot because otherwise like all 50 DC online would be sitting at that resource for an hour
I've just started walking up to them and pressing F to whisper. Two nights ago I got two players to stop using ballista on a tower we owned. This was followed by /t to two more not to repair the tower we just destroyed for a reason.Agrippa_Invisus wrote: »booksmcread wrote: »I suspect that the people that are doing this are probably not going to the ESO forums and reading the Alliance War threads. Or reading /zone chat. Or /yell. Or /say.
I just sat on siege an farmed the farmers . 5k AP not bad .
That's going to be about as effective as telling everyone to just leave the resource. (rather than going into the tower)

Yeah.
Sieging the tower down, as mentioned above, is truly the most effective method to end this.
The next best is subterfuge. Leave the pugs on the flag sieging the now friendly tower. Let a few die inside. Meanwhile keep a team stealthed and waiting. When that farm team gets bored and jumps out to flip the node again (to get some fresh meat back to their location), jump them instead, leading with negates and then AE them down while they're also dealing with NPCs.

Asking what you just asked is like asking ZOS to care about PvP. Its foolish and won't change anything
