If it was unexpected, you haven't been paying attention. EP has been steamrolling the map all campaign,has frequently held all 6 scrolls, and has continually had at least one ad or dc scroll. You were in 1st by more than 10k points last I looked. You had to have expected retribution. Else, dumb.

So you agree that two wrongs makes a right? The point I'm making is that you're blaming EP as a whole for Night-capping when it's not an exploitation just like it's not an exploitation for day-capping but logging in right on our scroll is somehow justified by you because were winning? Ok.

So, wasn't there but most players know that u can't take a scroll from a "closed" gate anymore....changed a few updates ago where u will get hit with like 10k damage from mage at gate when trying to come back over.... regardless, i was playing this morning earlier and think you just mad at map... not a lot of red in there at the moment AND there was two bars of EP players on when i first logged on and saw the awesomeness of a map that wasn't all red like past few days. Dont be mad bro... your EP exploiters will be back to take map back over, just give it time. Meanwhile stop trying to spread hate on the forums here... we all know the truth. Oh and don't say something silly like "we dont exploit"... have seen it, you all are not the only ones to have characters on other factions to check out what is really going on....

The map is not red of which I'm not surprised. I expected this long before since the days of Wabbajack. But to actually understand how butthurt DC really is to somehow bypass a closed gate and attempt a scroll run is sad. Too bad you don't see it and instead resort to attacking me as an an individual for stating the recent events in full detail (I added a slight bit of sarcasm of course) in order to show those of the opposing factions that when ever you complain about how "unfair" EP is, "Exploitation", or any means to make you guys feel better about losing.

We stopped them right outside the gate of Chim. I few of us were defending Kings this morning and didn't lose control of it. that's when we got the notification that our scroll was picked up and we rushed to the closed gate to find a small dc group trying to run it. Most players also know that you can still get passed those mages too. Also, This post was exactly for you. Your response is the exact matter i wrote this thread with this form of context. You blame an entire faction for the deeds of an individual group of which 90% of EP has nothing to do with and yet you fail to take the responsibilities of your own faction. Doesn't feel good does it?

By defending your own faction against a clearly non-ethical event, you have automatically aligned yourself with the idea that it's ok for what they did because of YOUR emotions towards an enemy faction. Or as most of you like to claim when you feel bummed out, Guilty by association. again missing multiple examples of the irony in your posts. This thread isn't about how cool EP is or even in a direct notion, how "OmG DC are ChEaters!" Where did I defend DC and for what? Please be specific, as I've stated several times that I don't even know what happened or how. I'm interested in knowing what you think I'm defending.

And of course it's possible to grab a scroll without exploiting. It's been said in this thread that DC held Kings for a time this morning. If Arruis was at any point flipped too the gate would have opened. It's not an exploit for people to wait patiently behind the gate to make their move.

Last week DC had an AD gank group behind the closed gate of Ni Mohk for more than 2 hours after the gate had been opened for less than 5 minutes. No doubt they would have taken the scroll if EP hadn't already had it for days. Nobody accused them of exploiting, and many remarked on their patience for sneaking around for that long (while we hunted them down like the opportunist pigs they are ).

I've seen it happen scores of times over the months that a group waits for a gate to open, however briefly, and hides behind it. Sometimes for a looong time. I don't know if that's what happened here, since no EP have provided facts.

You are supposed to be insta-killed if you attempt to leap to an NPC in a closed gate. There's a barrier called 'Barrier of (GateName)' at each gate that does 10K damage to anyone attempting to enter.

It does NOT prevent people who, previously behind the gate before it closed, from leaving. Say, with a scroll.

Don´t mix "night cappers" with some uncertain chain of events. I have no idea how DC capped 1 scroll, but if they did it legit way you have written totally unfair thread throwing dirt at fellow players. Let Zeni inspect this and come back when you have proof.

I believe there are various thread dealing with "night cappers". Never saying it is "cheating" but it creates unfair play ground if there is no opponents online. That is it.

Both gates were open when I logged in this morning. Ghartok was being parked at Faregyl, but we still had Chim. We took back Kings, which closed the gate, I asked if the area behind the gate was cleared out of enemies and was told 'no', so there ya have it. They were back there, took the scroll, made it over the gate, but we got it back. It is technically not an exploit as ZOS has said many times.

Fine I'll accept that we recently re-gained a keep as soon as i logged in but you guys are still missing the point. If one group does something questionable whether it be an exploit or not, don't blame an entire faction. Learn WHO you're trying to point out otherwise you're just creating stereotypes. Camping 3 hours behind a gate may not be an exploit but neither is night-camping. And yes, There have been multiple accusations of night-capping being associated with "cheating". While I personally don't agree with it, It's not cheating just as AD formerly did this AND DC on past campaigns.
