If it was unexpected, you haven't been paying attention. EP has been steamrolling the map all campaign, has frequently held all 6 scrolls, and has continually had at least one ad or dc scroll. You were in 1st by more than 10k points last I looked. You had to have expected retribution. Else, dumb.In an unexpected event, a small group of Daggerfall players decided it would be cool to log in and steal EP's last scroll (Chim) *snip
there's nothing worse than this.
I wasn't party to what happened, but I would like to respond to your self-righteous indignation:

If that last sentence doesn't do it for you than maybe i better replace it with a "tsk tsk".Nothing. There's nothing worse than this. Hyperbole much?
I justified nothing, and directly stated that I wasn't party to to what happened. I don't know who,or how, or if it was "wrong" (and I suspect you don't truly know either though you feel strongly otherwise). I've no idea what the map even looks like, because I've been avoiding the big, red, bat-laden zergball by staying out of Cyrodiil.
My point, which you missed, is that EP should have expected a heavy-handed response from either AD or DC at some point. The fact that you didn't, then came to the forums to rage about it, says a lot more about you (and perhaps many in your faction) than you intended it to.
We stopped them right outside the gate of Chim. I few of us were defending Kings this morning and didn't lose control of it. that's when we got the notification that our scroll was picked up and we rushed to the closed gate to find a small dc group trying to run it. Most players also know that you can still get passed those mages too. Also, This post was exactly for you. Your response is the exact matter i wrote this thread with this form of context. You blame an entire faction for the deeds of an individual group of which 90% of EP has nothing to do with and yet you fail to take the responsibilities of your own faction. Doesn't feel good does it?So, wasn't there but most players know that you can't take a scroll from a "closed" gate anymore....changed a few updates ago where u will get hit with like 10k damage from mage at gate when trying to come back over....

Typical "we're losing so we better cheat" mindset.
In an unexpected event, a small group of Daggerfall players decided it would be cool to log in and steal EP's last scroll (Chim) behind CLOSED GATES in order to run it across there map mid-day when everyone is offline. Fortunately, We, being a group of day-cappers, were prepared and beat them before they left the gate of Chim. Funny though, EP was being accused of Night-capping but there's nothing worse than this.
By defending your own faction against a clearly non-ethical event, you have automatically aligned yourself with the idea that it's ok for what they did because of YOUR emotions towards an enemy faction. Or as most of you like to claim when you feel bummed out, Guilty by association. again missing multiple examples of the irony in your posts. This thread isn't about how cool EP is or even in a direct notion, how "OmG DC are ChEaters!" It's about the irony of your posts and how you fail to neglect your alliances actions because you are being blamed for the whole of an individual group. At no point in this thread have I alleged or defended cheating. Since you threw the word out there, justify your statement. Who cheated, and exactly how? Cite your sources and make a fact-based claim, not an emotional one.
Too bad that was an irrelevant post since blue and yellow hold the whole map atm and all we have is kings and our last scroll. You tried.
By "prepared" you mean you were just sitting around because you had the map right? Careful you don't pat yourself on the back too much, might hurt yourself.

Unless you can explain to me how a group was able to grab a scroll without exploitation, please don't continue.
Also I'm unaware of any way to get through a locked gate . You can get in and hide if the gate was at one time open , which is not a exploit . Also I'm guessing , don't actually know , that maybe a group of DK's could leap it . If that's the case , ZOS put that ability out there .
In short , I'd like some form of proof to the allegation of exploitation before this goes any further .
What time did they go through the OPEN gate. Because we had kings last night and this morning. So they only had a small window to get in which, in turn, would make it so they had to do it at night. Oh my god, you don't think they- NIGHT CAPPERS OH NO THATS CHEATING WOW. " That's not fair that I had to go to bed and they get to stay up and kill the NPCs to capture a keep".
- aaaaaand queue the "Now hold on, wait a second-".

Both gates were open when I logged in this morning. Ghartok was being parked at Faregyl, but we still had Chim. We took back Kings, which closed the gate, I asked if the area behind the gate was cleared out of enemies and was told 'no', so there ya have it. They were back there, took the scroll, made it over the gate, but we got it back. It is technically not an exploit as ZOS has said many times.
Fine I'll accept that we recently re-gained a keep as soon as i logged in but you guys are still missing the point. If one group does something questionable whether it be an exploit or not, don't blame an entire faction. Learn WHO you're trying to point out otherwise you're just creating stereotypes. Camping 3 hours behind a gate may not be an exploit but neither is night-camping. And yes, There have been multiple accusations of night-capping being associated with "cheating". While I personally don't agree with it, It's not cheating just as AD formerly did this AND DC on past campaigns.
