I recently sent my alt (an Imperial 2h Sorceror) through Grahtwood as a part of my Cadwell's Gold quest line where it is a VR7 zone. After completing it I am concerned with the leveling pace of Cadwell's Gold after the change in experience.
My Sorceror began Cadwell's Gold as a VR6, approximately 8-10% in to the level, where I immediately went to Khenarthi's Roost. I completed every quest in Khenarthi's Roost, as well as every quest, skyshard, point of interest, delve, dolmen, world boss, and public dungeon (including the group challenge and the boss slayer achievement) in Auridon. That however left me still VR6 (which is already a concern), though luckily upon reaching Grahtwood I was able to kill 4-5 enemies on the shoreline of Haven to achieve VR7 without having to do any quests.
Once in Grahtwood I did every quest, collected every skyshard, found every icon on the map, opened every chest, and solo'd every delve, dolmen, world boss (except for Thugrub - there was another player with me), and public dungeon (including the group challenge). I made an active effort to kill every enemy in my path, farm the group dungeon a bit since fighting those groups as a 2h solo was actually pretty fun, and made a special effort to go out of my way to kill every Troll in sight (just because). There were times when I would stay in an area just killing mobs on mental autopilot while I was paying attention to things around me (fiance, netflix, etc). Sadly, as I finish the zone I am standing at the entrance to Greenshade sitting at 893,250/1,000,000.
I feel that after clearing an entire zone and farming mobs more than a regular quester would I shouldn't still be over 100k to gaining another level. I realize that the removal of VR is not coming with the next update, and we have no notion as to when they are finally being removed, so I would like to request additional time go in to balancing the experience gains for the Cadwell's Silver/Gold zones. Completing an entire zone 100% (110% if you want to put a value to the extra enemy farming) should result in a level up - whereas not getting one is frankly disheartening.
@ZOS_GinaBruno Please pass this on so another look can be given to the VR experience gains so we can at least walk away with a 1:1 level per zone experience.
