to solve lag you prevent fast travel now? Lag out doors? Prevent players from mounting? I remember when your marketing department promised a lag-free experience at launch. When is the launch date?

From what I can see, all that's been done has been remove functionality to reduce lag and that hasn't fixed it. What do we have, 1200 total pop in any given campaign?

I know you won't ask me but I'll tell you anyway. T o t a l [snip].

Just had a fight in a dead camp with 4 people and lagged to high hell. I think Zenimax is trying to completely kill PvP.

Had a few 12 vs 16 battles on Haderus and experienced 0 lag. Was on Thorn when EP was locked and other two were 3 bars; besides FPS loss, no lag in the battles.

Thornblade EU last evening. The lag wasn't as bad as the week before, but it is still very noticeable. I still had doors not responding in time and skills not executing in a heavy fight.
I aslo had my second crash to desktop this week. That one was gone for a while, but since the last update it came back.

EP was at it again tonight, stack up, run around, spam impulse and bats.

They really need to do something to discourage stacking. Its making the game a lag fest.

I was at Arrius Mine tonight during the worst of the lag on Thornblade NA. EP was spread out for the most part at the mine but it was AD who was largely bundled together spamming the bats and heals.

All sides might do it, but the EP clowns imported the spam troglodytes from AD to make EP the pulse spam realm.

Lot of lag last night at the Arrius mine when AD decided that was THE spot for pretty much their entire faction.

Our group eventually decided to leave them to their resource and went hunting blue. The lag was MUCH better away from the mine.

I had Lag as well and yes as well it was around Arrius Not sure if Lowering the pop is the trick as it will just p/o many wanting to join in and or "play with there friend /friend's" because just guessing Id say the pop has been lowered to about 150 players per side Zos I think needs to look at the aoe's and the particle effects maybe dial it back to basic . hey if Gw2 could fix "culling" im sure Zos and fix there lag

I find it humorous that we should change our organized PVP styles (stacking up) - because the server can't handle us.

If you want PVP to survive, you will. An organized group that is spread out should still beat a bunch of spread out pugs.

Just give us the ability to turn on or off the eye candy (spell effects) once your computer isn't trying to process all that junk, then no more lag for you.

As long as everyone on the server for all three factions is in one of two places you are going to get lag. No way around it.

Or you could try to use some tactics that require skill vs spamming one skill.

in the first 6-7 battles I was in last night (ne part of map: bleak/chal/arri/kc) ... frozen ability bars, rubber banding, animation locking, sound desynchronized, all the good old stuff

it got better around 1AM est and it was fine, for me anyway, for the next couple of hours

They should just make cyrodiil 16 color and 8 bit sound and I think we'd be OK.
Unless it's a processing/data logjam and not a graphic/sound jam. Which it kind of seems to be. But I'd be down for going back to the Commodore 64 days to see if it works.

Take it as a challenge. As a bonus, you don't destroy the game for everyone else with the springs lagfest reacharounds. At least until ZOS fixes it *cough* uhuh.
