No. it would make it pointless to play blackwater blade and any other campaign under 14 day duration.
what needs changing/fixing is the lag. The lag is the sole reason many people are quitting PvP. imbalanced/OP builds can be dealt with by the players. Pathetic buff servers/ buff server defenders can be dealt with by the players(as Hedarus showed) but the one thing players cant deal with is the horrendus lag, and its tearing PvP apart.

They have the players, they just need to decide to play. AD has more players than EP, and while DC doesn't, DC is pretty much just AD's little brother on US Thornblade.

Would a daily map reset that assigns all keeps and scrolls back to their default owners help restore some morale in Cyrodiil? Let's say at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM EST everyday, everything reverts back to their original alliance. People logging in at prime time would start with the default map, regardless if they owned everything or nothing a few minutes before the reset.
While some people truly enjoy playing as underdogs, it seems far more people do not and this change could help alleviate that problem. It would also impede one faction from running up the score for days on end via a stagnant map. It might also generate some interesting fights if players are inside an enemy's keep at reset time and they either have to fight or flee.
Could this work? Or would it cause other problems such as a faction logging in en masse at reset time to sweep the map in an hour or so? Would it kill PVP in the hours before a reset as people would think their efforts are being wasted?
I'm just trying to come up with alternatives that might breathe some life into the soon-to-be corpse of PVP on the NA server.

A daily reset may not be the answer, but let's not deny there's a problem that needs fixing (other than lag).
