How do people have over a million AP shortly after this campaigns start? I do not get it. DO people literally have no lives, or is there some new farming method going on like back in launch

    I've certainly got 40,000 in a day when running with a very skilled guild, alas now defunct. I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone said they got 100,000 in a day. When vet elite gear costs 243,000 a piece a million isn't that much.

    Well, you do have to play a lot. But some builds are made in order to farm ap, if you take on a whole zerg and tank them, you will tag all of them and get lots of ap when they die, be it by your hand or someone else's.

    If you are in a good tchoo tchoo train on a crowded campaign like Thornblade, it's not hard to get 100K ap/ hour. Do 2 hours of that per day and you've got 1.4k million in a week. Don't go thinking that those trains only require impulse spamming, the better groups take a lot more skill than you could think

    If you see someone on the leaderboard has over 1 million AP shortly after a campain started, he definitely has no life at all. EU thornblade has started for 6 days and the top 10 players have 1 to 1.7 million AP. If someone told you he had 1 million AP shortly after a campain started, maybe he just didn't spend all AP when the last campain ended. When a campain ends, nothing will happen to the AP in your inventory.

    I know AP rolls over, but it doesnt count towards the new campaigns total. Every one starts at 0. Maybe I should get into these zerg trains as over the last campaign and 6 days into this new one I have only got 423k AP total. Some people say heal in pvp, but whenever I do that i get no AP. Even when healing people who are injured.

    I am just trying to figure out how to get AP faster lol I go to keep battles, i help at resources, I defend keeps, i am in scroll parties, I am tagging everything and everyone I see! Sadly no AP for me most of the time. I am seeing 0 AP ticks a lot lately even when I get kills.

    It was possible for a good group to gain 500k AP in a day on a server with locked population, especially if you have an emperor in your group. The current lag has lowered AP/hour though, so has lack of forward camps and oils.

    The fastest way to gain AP is constantly wiping large amounts of people in open field with a group of 12 or so experienced players (no dead weight) and literally kill thousands of players, like your kill counter will be well over 1000 on a good day.

    Another strategy people have used is farming at a resource and giving the defense tick to one person to boost them up the leaderboards.

    Builds specifcally made for farming AP, for one. Another way is simply playing all dang day(i knew an emp that would play for DAYS without end)

    there are also whatever exploits i may not know about.

    it mainly depends on how much you play though. Even terrible players like me can get some good chunks of AP if we play enough.

    find a good group/groups. idk what everyone else is talking about for the most part. their are some good pieces of advice but honestly for me its knowing my role/job/build and being in a skilled group that know their role/class/job. doing that will mean you are successful in fights, which means more offense/defense ticks, and kill ticks.

    We got about 400-500k in a day, yesterday, on haderus just farming the AD zerg. (bads)

    wow well thanks everyone for the advice :P and @FluffiestOne‌ I hope to see you on haderus next time my guild decides to come take scrolls back :P but if I see you laying on the ground dont get upset by the friendly bagging that will happen ;D people seem to get mad at that like they never played video games before lol (no offense seriously, old habit from halo :P )

    as for the high amounts of ap per day, I cant seem to obtain it. I have been in large raiding groups and we usually do really good and I have accepted my role as a sorc which is to support the DK's lol i tag everything and everyone, I am there taking keeps, resources, defending etc etc but never get more than 10-15k in my 4-5 hours of playtime.

    Like I stated previously; lately 0 AP ticks is a curse. There is nothing worse than seeing 0 AP over and over again when killing people and taking resources. Sometimes taking resources yields a whopping 5 ap >_> even when I was in the fray of battle.

    He is talking about the leaderboard ranking I guess.
