When i started playing ESO, if you looked on the map/inventory in cyrodiil while sneaking you revealed yourself, this little thing made the whole cyrodiil so much more exciting because to look on the map/inventory you had to step aside and be careful where and how you do it.

I kinda liked this idea, and i thought it was a clever little thing in pvp for making it more intrigue, but then it vanished. =(

Maybe it was a bug, but for me it was a good bug.

    No, i would like to stay hidden as it is now.
    I've never been fond of sneaking up to harvest a node from under the nose of a Sench or evildoing NPC, only to stand up twice (once each at start/end of harvest) during the action.

    If I can run faster than a horse while crouched down and sneaking, I damn sure ought to be able to pick a flower while stealthed.

    And that includes pulling out a map or journal to check details.
    The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

    If you are hidden does it make sense to stand up and look at a piece of paper and reveal your position or stay hidden and look at the piece of paper? Does it make sense to stand up and pull your ethereal bag and search trough it or just stay down and take out your ethereal bag and search ?

    in this case sneakers can't just look at the map when ever. they have to be careful where to use the map/inventory.
    ex: in a bush, behind a tree, near some rocks. not middle of the field.

    Someone can use minimap. And this is an unfair advantage. Becuse someone get fps drop because of minimap, and someone not. How you deal with that?

    I don't you should be seen but it would be interesting if they could make sound play a part in detection, so you could pick a flower but getting out a pickaxe and mining might make enough noise to attract curiousity... Maybe an option to stealth mine that would take more time due to the extra care needed...

    Maybe that is taking making it lifelike too far?

    not really. imo they should remove the note were there is fights also so
    ppl can have those 1 vs 1 good fight's

    Agree here this would also cause an lot of annoyance standard is to move up to target then sneak until group is ready. If you could not look at map to see where the other is without breaking sneak it would be annoying and also cause irritation as somebody broke sneak to check if food buff is up, weapon charged and similar you do before an fight.

    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.
