Who will you be?

So, Justice System comes out next month (?), and with it the ability to mercilessly slaughter people in towns and cities. Unfortunately, however, the ability to be "the good guy" and fight the criminals is not going to be in when it comes out.

So heres my question, are you going to be a ruthless barbarian, putting entire towns to the torch and plundering their riches. A thief/assassin, working in the shadows to silently take out your victims and steal their valuables. Or, will you wait for the day of reckoning to come, where you can police the streets, killing all those who break the law and harm the innocent?

Personally, it varies by character. My EP Sorc is definitely going to do some merciless slaughtering, my 2H DC NB is going to have to wait for the day when he can kill evil people, my v14 NB is going to be a stealthy assassin, and my v4 Sorc is going to do a little of everything.

Will probably just do whatever needs to be done to max out the new skill line. then forget about the system again until it is finished and ready for actual play.

I'm a good guy - and when I'm not, I'm a thief, not a killer. I'll turn my NB into a burglar, but my other characters will not participate. When the PvP part is released, my templar will don the guard tabard and others will continue to stay out of it. Unless it's really, really fun, then I might change my mind.

Then again, if motifs still come mostly from furniture, I might be forced to rob some innocent people even though I really don't want to...

Since the Enforcer is not going to be in patch 1.6 just the 'thief 'part. I am going to be a thief and make the most of it while I only have to worry about NPC guards.

Going to be interesting to see players destroy NPC's in city's while 'good guy' players can only watch. Hopefully bankers and stores can not be killed and guards have good hp and dps or there will be no NPC alive in the cities

I hope they do something where if you don't necessarily want to be forced into committing crimes while looking for motifs, you can buy the really common ones from like a motif vendor somewhere, and put some other system in where you can find the not so rare one (daedric, high elf, etc.). Perhaps putting them in dungeon containers and what not instead.

I'm gonna be the person murdering those 2 npcs in Daggerfall. You know, the ones by the crafting station who won't shut up about how someone saved King casimir's life, imma buy that hero an ale. That's who im gonna be.

You can currently find motifs in dungeon backpacks and furniture. I have found multiple blue ones this way, as well as a barbaric.

Two of my toons will be good (my favorite first two) and the one I'm working on now as well as my planned one will be bad. My tank will be a murderer, but the planned NB will only be a thief.

Seeing as I have no real desire to give other players a chance to dance on my corpse I will probably be infuriatingly good and law-abiding.

No kidding. Who knows, maybe those of us who would prefer to have any NPCs alive in towns or cities (you know, the ones who keep getting accused of being "carebears") have been listened to this time and the accessibility of essential services won't be dependent on everyone in the megaserver spontaneously deciding to not be gits today...

... yeah, not likely. So here's hoping for non-killable service NPCs!

Itll be strange to watch 100eds trying to steal the same/different stuff in such a small area with limited interactables/npcs

Containers have always been instanced per character (except locked chests). It will be no different than now except players will be sneaking and watching the NPC's.

As I was a very adamant Thief's Guild fanatic I will be the burglar/pickpocket and hope they launch the Thief's Guild skill line in future content.

We'll just have to get shifts going, so they never get to say their 2 lines of dialogue.

My Imperial/Dunmer NB is a pragmatist and a vampire with a strong sense of justice. According to his ingrained moral sense of what is righteous, he only kills when he thinks it is necessary and he never enjoys it.
He spends many hours meditating on the nature of reality and has experienced a few epiphany's on the nebulous meanings behind the ideas of "right" and "wrong" and the nature of *self*.

Ever the craftsman, he also crafts all the armour and weapons for his two brothers (though technically Ki-Pohang and he share no blood relationship).

His half brother; Imperial/Redguard Breg Magol does not understand nuance to the same degree. A more simple outlook blesses him with an easier decision making process. Things are either morally "good" or "bad" and he makes his choices accordingly.
In a surprising turn, he is secretly seeking vampirism so he may better understand his older brother (he's always been vocally against Brechador's decision to become a vampire). He believes that he will still see vampirism as a "bad" choice and is undertaking this to "prove" to his brother that he speaks from real experience ...

The third brother; Ki Pohand shares Breg's Redguard mother and has a Redguard father. He is Redguard through and through, although only a Lvl 26 squire, he has an uncomplicated sense of honour to match. He worships Sai Sahan and is secrety growing a beard to match and will only date big Nord girls (the bigger the better!) .. oh, and he has a preference for Nord armour.

Thieving is the single thing my characters despise. Having my home broken into 3 times IRL probably contributes to that.

Kill the thieves. Steal a loaf of bread? Cut both your hands and rip your tongue out. Yep, I'm that kind of guy.
