Was just wondering if anyone had heard any news on this...
Will there be a difference between vr9-14 gear come CS-time. Or vr1-14 for that matter.
Will we have to put C-points into something to allow us to wear said armor?
The reason I'm asking is I'm almost vr9, and might aswell craft my "max level gear" at vr 9 if it's all the same come CS.

✭✭Unless I blow all my mats at vr9 thinking its the same and then after CS vr14 gear is still a thing :-P

This is something the community needs to know, asap, so that we're not wasting our time farming gear or an enormous amount of resources upgrading items that will soon be worthless.
If you say nothing, at least one group of people is going to be severely ticked off. If you say something, well then at least you can say "I told you so"0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I see two ways this can end
1) veteran level get changed into CP level, you need an number of CP to use old VR8 or VR14 level.
Problem is that all alts will go straight for VR 14 gear if main is VR14.
2) all gear get normalized to say to say VR 8.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -

It's still 2 months till update 6 launches on live servers. You have plenty of time to get to VR14.0 -

✭✭✭at this point why even bother with vr14 i just got all my chars to vr 7 since they said champion will be account wide i figure accumulate enough vr chars their total will convert to vr 14 worth of champion points if it transfers more then i'd have like vr 28 worth of exp by now0 -

It's still 2 months till update 6 launches on live servers. You have plenty of time to get to VR14.

VR ranks will still exist until at least April, so I think you should wait a bit to craft your endgame stuff if you are VR9. Nobody knows what's going to happen, I'm not even sure if @SOS does.
Giving 1 skillpoint and 1 attribute point for each VR rank wouldn't make sense if those would completely disappear. How would they take those spent points back? Random selection of an ability/attribute?Wololo.1 -

So it won't be "all the same" when the CS hits.....
What they do beyond that, they don't know for sure. So yes it answers your question....geez...0 -
