I remember the good old days when you had to pour over the NPC's conversations in order to make sure you got the clues to find the objectives to complete quests or information needed to lead to other quests.
In ESO my entire questing/levelling experience is staring at Quest arrows and blue circles on the map and just spamming "E" at every NPC. Even RATS have huge arrows over their heads its silly.
There are a very few quests that kinda lead you to an area then you gotta search around, at first they seem annoying bc its inconsistent with the other "gimee" quests but I eventually found it great fun and rewarding when I finally found the objectives.
Turning off the quest markers isn't really an option because that just puts you at a disadvantage compared to everyone else who is zooming past you in levels bc they just spam "E" and run to the next arrow or circle.
Also just having an option to turn them off doesn't help when the text isn't sufficient to find the next objective, usually its far to vague.
Solution: (warning this solution requires big cojones) Remove all quest markers and flesh out all NPC hints/texts.
A compromise solution would be to maybe highlight people in a green hue if you look at them directly to indicate they may have something interesting to say, anything but these huge arrows over everyone and everything. Also you could maybe leave in some of the Area indicators.
These changes will allow us to slow down and view the gorgeous beauty that is ESO. So let me know what you think guys.

Do quest markers ruin great MMORPG's like ESO? 168 votes
No, I am extremely lazy and want everything handed to me keep quest markers.
Yes, I want to be able to enjoy the game and interact more with others by figuring out quests with no markers.
